Even IPL in Vegas was 30 bucks and I went to both of them cuz tickets were affordable.
Only if they lower their price to like 40 bucks then I might consider cuz its like 20 min drive for me...

govern yourselves accordingly. it would be worse if they outright lied and then never handed out any prize money at all. at least they are not doing that. Right, because if on one end there's advertising $400k and they made good on it, and on the other end there's advertising $400k and they gave zero prize money, then yeah the record-breaking $300k they awarded over the first three seasons is outright deception to the community. I don't recall Stephano complaining about his prize winnings at the S3 Finals. And since prize money only affects the players and since the NASL prize pool was still record-breaking for Western SC2, then perhaps your warning is just perhaps a little misleading? Maybe? As to the comments about ticket pricing, yes it's a bit higher than usual, but it's also a MUCH smaller venue with MUCH better seating, and those that appreciate that will pay it. Also, it's $60, not $70. For Styleworks79, if it's only 20 minutes away then you're saving yourself a lot of hotel and gambling money from IPL, so I guess you don't really have anything to complain about either. Whiners. Sheesh.

i do not like unfulfilled promises so i'm not attending; it'll be interesting to see how many people feel the same way. We are only 4 days away from the start of the event. all of this bickering and sniping back and forth would be avoided if they'd simply announce the prize pool. Someone on TL.Net should start a poll called : "Guess the NASL Season 4 Prize Pool" if you come within $100 of the correct Prize Pool you get a free HD pass for NASL season 5.

I'd bet money that the "unfulfilled promise" has nothing to do with your absence, but sure, make any excuse that helps you sleep better at night Do you also pick which Hockey game [well, if there was a NHL this year ] based on the players salaries? Do you root for the team whose owners have the cheapest tickets? If so, well, you have bigger problems than the NASL.

The CFL rules are really cool with a much bigger field and more room for pure athletic ability. The CFL game is more interesting and entertaining than the NFL. THe big problem i have when watching the CFL is that there is a voice in the back of my head saying "these are not the best players in the world". As cool as the 100th Grey Cup was but any NFL team given a couple of weeks to prepare could ROLL the Toronto Argonauts. The best players go to where the best money is. I want to watch the best players. Whether NASL will offer IPL, MLG and BWC style prize money is any one's guess.

NASL was the first league in North America to offer a $100k prize pool and a $50,000 first prize back when MLG was offering a $15,000 first prize. Seasons 2 and 3 reduced first prize to $40,000 so that the prize money could be better distributed among all the competitors, but maintained the total $100k prize pool, and added increased travel cost coverage to all the players, and added prize money to all regular season matches. Not sure what your grudge is against NASL. They're working to grow the sport and take care of both the players and the fans in the process. Stop hating.

Again it's like saying I'll watch or not watch the Stanley Cup based on how much of a bonus the players get if they win. NOBODY (well except you apparently) chooses which events to watch based primarily on the prize pool, unless it's a brand new venture and the prize pool will determine if decent players are playing. You already know TODAY who most of the players will be in the NASL Season 4 Finals because you've had a whole season to watch that come together. Nobody is asking for your blind support. Your ONLY piece of missing information is the prize pool announcement. That means it's not ACTUALLY why you're hating on NASL, it just means that's your EXCUSE for hating on NASL.

Dude, you literally posted right after mine, which mentions the already existing $20 off coupon which they've advertised on every episode of the show over the last few weeks, and also advised you where to go to find out information about cheaper tickets.
