looks exactly like nerdstomper.com which unfortunately failed horrendous :>

I like this idea a lot. reminds me of the old warcraftstrategy.com circa 2003 days. There's startlingly little in the way of video tutorial content on youtube, most of it is just diamond noobs screaming about stuff and getting excited.

I have a suggestion, if you are going to pump out so many videos out, as 1 every other day, you would do well to organize them, so the people learning them have an idea what order to watch them, instead of just hopping w/e. Short specific videos are better than long, more broad ones.

Looks awesome. However, why don't you add a HotKeyIt logo to where the replay timer is shown in your replay videos? O.o -BW Player so won't be paying, sorry ^^ edit: Also, as said above, maybe sort by author of video. So far you organized kinda nicely. Oh, and thanks for telling me what happened to CecilSunkure after BW. I was wondering but was too lazy to search with google to find out lol.

I like the concept but what i dont like is that the videos is old and played on maps that been out from ladder for like 1 year.
|
Well, the idea is good, but i would never pay 5 $ per month for that.

In the ever growing sea of sc2 content, and a vast majority of it being free, I don't see a lot of people buying this. Im definitly a fan of Cecil and would like to watch some videos but won't be paying the money.

Looks like a nice cheap alternative to coaching and you have some great players.
There is a lot of free good content out there, but it's kinda hard to find..
So for $5/Month, i'd recommend this as it'll generally take you a good hour or more to find good content, and remember time is money.. an hour to most people is $10 working wage, so it saves you time and money!

This looks like a cost efficient way to boost your sc2 learning! I'll check it out.

I watched one video, the one about protoss micro, and the conclusion i draw from it is that it would be pointless to pay for this, The only argument that would justify 5$ a month for content you can find for free is that you are guaranteed its up to date and GOOD in terms of production value or at least in terms of time wasted... Your video about micro is 40 mins long, on old maps with old openings and some pretty outdated zerg army comps ( hydra/roach is not very common, mass speed ling opening nether ).
All the tips you gave there can be likely found in shorter and maybe more up to date video in about a 1 to 2 hours period of time... and considering that for a player that is plat or higher already knows about 30 to 70% of what you said there and 80% of the video was annoying things such as the stressing of how to wall of with 2 gateways on shattered temple... a map that hasn't been used for ages.
Well yeah... you don't save time, you don't gain quality and you can find the info somewhere else.

It is per month, but you can pay for a month then cancel and pick it up again whenever you want to. The subscription includes access to the entire database.

Very cool, don't know if they take feedback here but in the toss video around 31 mins he starts drawing in paint, and he has paint hidden from his recorder with the program people use to hide applications from their streams, so basically u see him move his mouse over his sc2 screen and explaining a bunch by a drawing, which is invisible. Just something to watch out for in the future, I could follow quite well either way

Yea, we noticed some of these things after the fact where the recorder wouldn't pick up on different applications. Going forward it shouldn't be much of an issue, but we didn't want to take down the video completely as we felt it still had plenty to offer.

Best of luck to the guys running this site. I really hope you do well.

I think the reason for this is the constant change in balance, metagame and strategies. Its only in recent times that some build orders / strategies etc has been somwhat viable for a longer period of time (until the changed Z that is..). When Stylish made his FPVODs the basics were already set and the game was changing more slowly and thats also why they were so good (imo). Im not sure SC2 is consisant enough to be able to build a database with tutorials. The way to go is to keep it updated and get rid of old content so that people actually learn the right stuff. If they manage that I think this will be a good site to learn a thing or two from.

We agree except for the removing old content part. We want to just leave it up and if people want to watch it they are more than welcome to and if they don't at least the option is there. The site is updated with a new video every other day to stay current with the ever changing map pool and meta-game.
