Why not stream? ENTERTAIN ME
When I was working I only had a 40 min commute each way. Luckily not really any traffic where I am. My dad used to have a 1.5 hour commute each way, and was working 16 hours/day some weeks when he was around my age though. ._.

For Wave + Show Spoiler +So Kripp (aka the hunter) has two cards and a flametongue totem in play. Do not worry that he's playing seemingly three decks at once with those cards, they are merely placeholders. I made them gold for you since you like shiny things. In this first picture we see Kripp's board state, for purposes of simplicity I'm not showing his opponent, merely showing his board to demonstrate when your Canadian schooling has failed you. ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/MchHnyj.png) So as you can see both minions would be benefiting from the flametongue totem as per the flametongue card. He sees them both getting the buff and assumes them in this order. In reality, his board is bugged, only slightly, but bugged nonetheless. In the second picture you see the ACTUAL board as his opponent does and notice that in fact the order of his two cards besides flametongue are in fact reversed. ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/wZcYIJK.png) When Kripp is choosing to play his rocketeer, he is assuming that, although he knows his board is bugged, as long as he inserts the rocketeer either to the left of minion 1 (aka the Master of Stealth) or to the right of minion 2 (aka the Doomguard) his rocketeer will obtain the buff, thereby killing his opponent (not pictured). ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/9fK5idA.png) Now, if we jump back into the eyes of our opponent, and observe the true board state, our hero Kripp is actually considering playing AROUND the flametongue totem buff and is making the fatal error that only a turbonewbie would make, as the final image depicts. ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/pjipTQy.png) I hope I've taught you to see the light, my friend. Sincerely yours, and everyone else's who just happen to be reading this thread, Zdrastochye
Hope that clears things up.

No, you're wrong. The flametongue totem was off to the right next to like 2 other minions. The buffed minions were next to each other.
Edit: I see what you're saying, but there was no way for Kripp to know if that was even the case. Technically the two buffed minions could in reality have been where the flametongue totem was and he should have put his card next to the totem rather than in between the minions.

It's not wrong. If it was wrong the rocketeer would have the buff.

I've been thinking about the HS meta, and it's the rock, paper, scissors nature of it that makes grinding up post rank 5 so grindy and annoying. Basically there're fast decks (warlock, hunter), midrange decks (druid, shaman, rogue), and slow decks (pally, priest), and in general it's slow > midrange > fast > slow. Midrange out-trades fast decks, slow decks have bigger threats and more removal than midrange, and fast decks get within lethal too quickly for slow decks.
Because of this circular balance, the meta constantly shifts hour to hour to fight the most prevalent archetype in the past hour. What this means for the grinder is that he has to 1. notice the shift and try to counter it before others catch on. 2. have access to the decks necessary to counter and 3. be willing to play decks purely based on the meta. As you can see this system is not well suited for the casual with only 1 good deck or even a tryhard who prefers to just play one style.
I think this is a flaw because one cannot stick to the playstyle he enjoys and ladder optimal at the same time. In Magic, it is very common to have players (even professionals) who excel at playing his specialty. HS on the other hand seems to reward the opportunist who has access to all the cards and constantly monitors hourly meta shifts.

I've beaten plenty of fast decks with midrange. Midrange just needs decent draws and they typically run a lot of removal (including aoe) and deal with threats quickly. All you have to do is throw in cheap healing and the games are typically close but typically in my favor.

Also Gerudo Valley symphonic version at work makes even css nitpicking bearable.

Went to continue my 4-0 mage run this morning while I was getting ready for work. Commence horror flashbacks to being sick or skipping school on a Tuesday and not being able to play WoW ~_~
In other news, I'm hating myself for enjoying this mage deck. I thought it would be terrible, but it's still running strong for me.

The entire OoT symphonic sound track is amazing.

oh hello -30 C back already I hardly had time to miss you.
I was playing shaman yesterday and a priest mass silenced all four of my totems. rip.

Use to do the same thing in ultima online. Get up early before school and PK people who were trying to do server up spawns in pvp areas. Easy pickings, they were sooo bad!

Git out.
Seriously Missouri gets 2~ inches of snow and there are accidents all over the highway as well as cancelled school. I'm not even exaggerating. It's insane.

We are, that's why it's cold and we're finally going to get another decent snow to ski on in the northeast. I'm going cross-country despite all of you being lame and only liking downhill.

Cross country are for people afraid of a little adrenaline rush.
