So Kripp (aka the hunter) has two cards and a flametongue totem in play. Do not worry that he's playing seemingly three decks at once with those cards, they are merely placeholders. I made them gold for you since you like shiny things. In this first picture we see Kripp's board state, for purposes of simplicity I'm not showing his opponent, merely showing his board to demonstrate when your Canadian schooling has failed you.



So as you can see both minions would be benefiting from the flametongue totem as per the flametongue card. He sees them both getting the buff and assumes them in this order.
In reality, his board is bugged, only slightly, but bugged nonetheless. In the second picture you see the ACTUAL board as his opponent does and notice that in fact the order of his two cards besides flametongue are in fact reversed.



When Kripp is choosing to play his rocketeer, he is assuming that, although he knows his board is bugged, as long as he inserts the rocketeer either to the left of minion 1 (aka the Master of Stealth) or to the right of minion 2 (aka the Doomguard) his rocketeer will obtain the buff, thereby killing his opponent (not pictured).



Now, if we jump back into the eyes of our opponent, and observe the true board state, our hero Kripp is actually considering playing AROUND the flametongue totem buff and is making the fatal error that only a turbonewbie would make, as the final image depicts.
