So, relevant to the Inhouse thread, I kinda see Cheep and Roffles as Punch and Judy. Not just me, right?

Leveling accounts is a service lol. Like fuck, there is a whole business built around people leveling accounts because it's usually such dull work. (Especially LoL with the rune system + not even allowed to use certain summoners) There is nothing wrong with it. The only think you could argue against is Elo boosting. Elo boosting is kind of meh but in the end they will drop anyway. (Unless you do it at season end for rewards then post on the forum about how good "you" are) You have a nice horse and all but the stable isn't located here so park your horse elsewhere.

It's a stupid thing to argue about.

No? Even with xp boosts you need a few hundred games without all runes, masteries, and in some instances summoners if you ever do make a new account. So I don't see any harm if someone wants to pay someone else to level a new account. Obviously a brand new player wouldn't do it, it's more for smurfs. Sad that smurfs are so often looked down on in some games. It really never was a problem to me in scbw. It's like okay he's better than me.... Whatever? I think i had like 3 accounts back in the day lol

I think smurfs are fine. I'd rather play against a smurf than have some dude who wants to tank games to lower his mmr.
it does suck to have to grind to 30 though. but it can be a lot of fun since if you're good enough you can get away with anything.

So you can't condemn account leveling without condemning Riot too.

Not entirely though. It's the difference of needing to do the work yourself vs someone else doing it. In both cases you pay money. In the one scenario you just sit back and it gets leveled while you can do other things. In the other you have to play the games yourself, even though you need to play less overall. It's a time investment, and for some people it's not super fun for them because you need to deal with all the low level silliness (which I find funny and like, but there are people who don't and rage about it).
Like I'd never pay for any of that, I just like to play. But for some people they don't want to deal with the "hassle" but want the benefits lol.

It's not "hassle" vs no hassle. Level grinding services are cheap for people with a decent job. Where do you want to spend your time. That's the only real issue. Same as it was in WoW. Where do you get more enjoyment. Farming for hours or utilizing a couple hours of your income for paying someone else to do it?

That's what I mean by "hassle" though - farming for hours. When you could just spend your time doing something else.
Man, mancloud's stream is great.

It's a very subjective manner. I for one, loved playing at maximum level in World of Warcraft, but everytime a new expansion came and i got forced to level up, i seriously considered quitting the game (and mostly did) just to slowly grind my way up to 80/85/90. Grinding for some, is a fun experience, because for them all that matters is playing the very game. However, some people look forward to the social aspects of the game - playing with your friends - and that often requires gaining a maximum level (30 in LoL, 60/70/80/85/90 in WoW etc. etc.) and these types often doesn't have the necessary time to grind. This makes this a very hard matter to find a solution for; should you punish people for wanting to play with their friends faster? Should grinding be removed period?
