This has happened before and maybe i should just drink less. Ew poutine.

They just give you the nicotine you need (in bold because it is a need for you at this point) without completely destroying your lungs with the tar/smoke/whateverthehelltheyputinthosethings for me, im sure its going to be significantly a habitual helper to. going out for smoke between games/when i wake up/after food/after sex/work breaks/waiting for bus/before bed/all the time has been something ive been doing for like... 8 years now. if i could just have an e-cig when i feel like i really need a fix then hopefully it will disconnect from all the times i habitually have one now when i dont precisely NEED one. told myself i would quit by new years... not on track, its not too late but i feel like i have no will to try / terrified of losing my comfort de-stresser But having an e-cig is a huge enabler for bad habits. With one, you wouldn't have to go outside. You can just sit right where you are, no hassle, and suck down some nicotine. If you're actually serious about making a change in your life, then fucking do it. When I was a kid, my gymnastics coach would always say "If you truly wanted it, you would have made it happen." Don't make excuses. If it's something you truly want, make it happen. You have a whole forum who can help you along (cuz let's be serious, quitting cigs ain't easy), but you have to be the one to initiate change. yeah but i don't truly want it i fucking love smoking it feels great and its a perfect duration for a break. it just kills you and my gf doesn't like kissing me as much. I'm just gearing up to do it cause its one of those things i feel like i have to do i dont want to do it at all lol. So you're not really trying to quit but you want to look like you're trying to quit. That's cool, just keep in mind that it makes you look like you have no willpower at all. And maybe you don't, I wouldn't know, but if you don't then there's no downside at all. well apart from dying I don't want to look like im trying to quit, that wasn't my intention at all, i also don't really see the advantage of looking like you're trying to quit... why would anyone want to look like they are trying to quit? i phrased it like i'm going to try and quit this season or w.e. not presently. I have such bad will power about stuff like this i havn't even started trying to quit. I feel like quitting is something that's gotta happen eventually i'm just dreading and procrastinating it due to the aforementioned lack of will power. some of my friends and DJ wheat seem to think the e-cig helps with the habitual aspect which i think would be a big factor for me. The dying thing would suck but my main motivator will be the duration of kisses and look on my girlfriends face when i taste like an ashtray.
EDIT: the fuck kinda Canadian are you wave? it was this nasty ass poutini's the works poutine too. really nasty so good.

Then give the e-cig a shot. The longer you wait, the harder it gets =P

I realize this and I could make a list of negatives for those things too... But seriously, on a spectrum of detrimental, smoking outscales all of those by a long shot. Excessive drinking would be next closest thing.

i bought a vape and get nicotine free glycol
basically what i'm saying is i take my candy through my lungs

Well, req seems to have had a good night. It pretty much sounds like it's you focusing on the negatives - uncontrollably, I understand... I've been depressed as you have - just know from the outside it sounds like things went OK.

yeah i brought up smoking once before in this thread and agreed that it is a huge waste of money and i wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I cant think of a bigger waste of money other than buying 40k models and driving over them
I just decided I'm going to tell friends and family I'm quitting for new years so they will hold me to it. it's just a good deadline. I'll start counting my cigs everyday and cutting back now to increase my chances of success. It's fucking cold in the winter so that should help. then January first dandel can more ruthlessly make fun of me if i fail. thanks tllolotgd for reminding me the only reason i haven't quit smoking is because i don't feel like it / have no will power. gotta think of the goal of them sweeter kisses + how impressed my gf will (hopefully) be. maybe i should consider why i value my health so low that i partake in mordeks top two ways to spend money on killing yourself all the time. then i could add not dying to the list of my motivations.

xes did you do that to stop smoking or do you just enjoy it? would you even inhale that? does it taste like cig or can you get flavours?

Smoking have a lot of bad effects beyond the lungs, even though the lung-related issues are most visible. Wave should lecture us on the effects of glycol on the body. :D

I don't inhale anymore, its more for fun to play with smoke. Slowly trading addictions from hand-to-mouth motion of cigs to hookah to vape but at least I cut out the nicotine

My cousin legit quit smoking after smoking for nearly 60 years nonstop over a pack a day. Like, literally just went "Nope, I'm not going to smoke anymore," and didn't. Central European genes op.
