I was thinking about enders game today. specifically about how peter and violet used the internet to interject themselves into the world of high ranking politics.
you know, I feel like something like that could eventually happen. look at how certain posters on TL have a certain amount of respect and were able to get recognition through their writing.
if there was a TL for international politics, I feel like this could conceivably happen.

A friend and I joked about bringing knives to school during mile run day in middle school to improve our time. Teacher was not pleased when he overheard ~_~

What's Punch and Judy o_O

I had a ridiculous thought but it keeps me wondering. Was the Gillette sponsorship of the OSL profitable? I mean since Asians tend to get facial hair a bit later than some other (or most?) ethnicities and also the OSL viewership was a rather young demographic anyway. I wonder if they were satisfied with the outcome of their sponsorship and/or ROI.
edit: I don't even know why I posted it in the LoL forum but w/e it's the off topic thread

The overall corruption is really low, but you get platonic non-realistic relationships with every politician and their party, they get explicitly abused by the media all day - We have this politician named Lars Løkke who has been in the news spotlight for over a month now, because he used to buy first class tickets when he travelled with airplanes between Korea and Denmark seeing as he was the president of GGGI (Green Global Growth Institute). He started buying business class tickets instead back in June (2-3 months prior to the "scandal") and yet this is all you hear about at the moment. FML
But if any country is able to alter the media, it should be Denmark (well any Scandinavian country). When I watch the debates during election periods, a part of me seriously die, because all of them act like kinder garden children. Also before you accuse the media of too much watch this:

I basically never actually learned to do it consistently. Like I loved melee and I was into the Brawl mods pre-project M but I never actually got good because I don't know anyone who plays anymore and I'm 26 and if I actually went to the meeting/tournies I'd probably be meeting people half my age whooping my arse. And then I would never go back unless the people were super cool and interacted with me in other ways than whooping my arse.
...also I don't own a wii and the gamecube is Seuss's

I went to a couple melee tournies in high school and had a blast, although I wasn't very good. My best friend has recently gotten pretty heavily into P:M, and he's definitely better than I am now. Now I'm motivated to get halfway decent at it again.
New Zelda (or, rather, Zhime) is a monster and I'm so inspired to learn her:

better than in Ireland, where the scandal is more like people bringing their wives and/or prostitutes all over in first class on holidays that were written off as business trips

No idea what this means.
You download the files from the project m site onto a 2 GB SD card (MUST be 2 GB, the Wii can't read anything larger), and it's basically plug and play. The instructions are on the site.
