Isn't northshire cleric a good turn 1 drop? Flame imp also a good turn 1. Also somehow as a mage with mana wyrm and another card Trump basically old coin-defiased his opponent. No, northshire cleric is better for heal combos in later turns. I just treat her as a engineer, except better if i have taunt shield. Just getting a single carddraw makes her worth it. other wise she gets targeted hard.

Is there anything you can do about game halts in arena? My opponents turn will not end and no one can play anything, already have 2 losses so I don't want to surrender

+ Show Spoiler +I do like the changes to the layout though, everything seems...cleaner somehow, idk

I like it. It's better if I zoom in a bit.

It looks really nice on my phone. Not as big of a chamge on my monitor though

So how was your guys Halloween? I didn't get a single trick-or-treater because of where I live. Luckily my dad only got 1 bag of candy so we won't become balloons.

I had about 7 hours of classes. I was going to go shoot pool with a friend afterwards but instead I went home and did physics homework. As far as I know we didn't get trick or treaters, which makes me sad, because I've moved around a fair bit and somehow not once have I ended up in a house on even a minor halloween route - I thought I might have broken the streak this year, but nope. Someday I'm gonna live somewhere where I'll get to spend halloween by the door checking out the cool costumes and getting street cred by handing out lots of candy.

I love it, though it was easier to navigate between the different categories before

You can almost always see the whole title of a thread, which I think is a shame. No more "I really really like anal(yzing ZvT games)"

The forum change is better suited on my phone then on my PC, oh well i'll get used to this eventually I guess
|
I think the reason it looks so good zoomed in is because it's a lot closer to the phone experience, actually.

First arena paladern gogogogo.
I have way too many 4 drops, but my cardpool didn't help that.

I mean, it wasn't boring for tem, they were trying and stuff. But for me it was converting whatever I had aplenty to whatever I lacked, which was super slow because of resource spread and noone trading with me, basically wondering "Do I try to hold the longest road/biggest army or do I keep these resources for conversion?" every third turn when I received stuff without having the bandits on my ass. (The fact that the eventual winner was the gal who was (quite) behind the whole game is nice since it shows the game allows for comebacks, but if it's at the cost of lengthy stalling and simply shutting the leader out of the game so he has almost nothing to do meanwhile is a bad mechanic imo.)
you even managed to give your opinion on a board game as a whine, never change alaric. edit: how would anyone ever fight about playing catan wtf. it's the most mild competitive board game ever. The worst you can do is compete for longest road/most knights and not trade with the winner, which is needed to make it feel like you're not just all playing single player and racing to finish. edit2: nvm, alaric is still salty LOL you guys really suck at confrontation

Honestly, I'm perfectly happen avoiding being on a Halloween route for as long as possible lol

I miss being able to go to the LoL general index and from there have links on the top of the page to LoL strategy and LoL tournaments.

I wonder what'd happen if he'd play the Game of Thrones board game as Greyjoy and get backstabbed and his capital sacked by Lannister in turn 3, he'd probably explode. I was pretty mad too, since I couldn't ally with Stark (I took a bit of his shit before getting backstabbed), so I allied with Baratheon+Tyrell and destroyed most of the Lannister force until Baratheon saw a window to win the game and backstabbed his allies
Playing the game is like living the tv show/books, you're going to be betrayed and you will betray others.

i think there are plenty more than that opportunities to fuck people over in catan. you can take where they are obviously going to want to go during the set up or cut someone off by playing a couple quick roads. every time you move the robber. letting people use your ports for a price or not etc.

I remember one game with my friends where I had both starting road/village combos close to eachother. Friends proceeded to close me off, I didn't have anywhere to go after ~turn 3. All I could do was farm development cards/cities. At least I could pester them with the robber a lot.
