I applied to the EU LP clan and joined its community (both run by brokenwatch) so accept me bitches.
Capped#1137 - Currently just playing some softcore but i love HC with a passion so anything goes!
I used to hate my wizard so much, i couldnt stomach playing him, now he is so fucking fun. Frozen orb baby!
Anyone thinking D3 was a pile of shit needs to play this again. Wizard is probably the best class right now, which is why you enjoy playing it. They kinda screwed over Barbs though as far as I hear/read. The changes are definitely a good thing though. Very interesting overall, and they do make the game a much better experience. Huge problem I have with it is that they are still withholding certain things from being played if you don't buy the expansion. The "real" game is RoS. They allow for farming runs that you can't really do in the current version. We won't be able to use Adventure mode, bounties, and Nephalem Rifts. Mob density is a lot higher in those modes, and you can run these things all day. Basically, if people get the expansion too, they will be spending 100$(60 for d3, and 40 for the expansion) on what should have been there to start with. I see it as spending 100$ on only one full game. I don't think any other company could do something like this and get away with it. Though I agree that they should have done more to allow d3 to become a stand alone game without involving RoS, and that the current patch makes d3 a RoS marketing tool, I think it's a bit a silly to say that RoS should have been the starting base for D3. Yes, they are using the patch as a marketing tool. Why is it silly to expect something good the first time around? I don't think it's at all silly to think that what RoS is doing is what I expected to be playing when they initially released Diablo 3. I still don't see how I'm not paying 100$ for essentially what is one game. They made it one game, which is the issue. If they had just separated it like they did for D2 and D2:LoD, it wouldn't be an issue.
D3 was just a case of a bad game being released, doesn't mean that the expansion is what the first game should have been.

I know it's banned. The deck was designed to have shaman.

See. I have 2.05m Toughness.

So little damage... Can you actually get away with that little damage on monks in T6?
|
I dont need to do damage when I have 2 wizards and a DH killing things for me in T6. I just jump into the pile and cyclone strike it all into one group and let htem kill it. They don't die, I dont die, and things DO die. So we get massive loots.

Alright, that makes sense. Do you just not care about your damage rating then?
Should I be doing the same thing with my Barb? full tank?

My boutonniere (sp?) Is so friggin huge

Man... Can't tell if I'm lucky or unlucky. Do 60km spinout on the highway and hit the snow bank. Tiny dent and a slow leaking tire. I guess I'm pretty lucky

Jeez. What highway? There hasn't been snow so I'd be surprised if it was one of the majors.

You are super lucky.

Highway 16 just before tabor mountain. About 600 feet from the mountain. I feel alright. Roommate and mine necks are a bit sore but isn't too bad. I feel bad for my roommate cause I was driving.
Edit; I had it in 2 wheel drive like an idiot. Should have had 4wh on. Dumb me. Almost corrected it too.

I suppose a Barb is capable of fulfilling that role in a group, but they need to expend more of their actives/runes to do so than a monk because Cyclone strike is only restricted by Spirit and has no cooldown. For a barb to consistently pull on something like a cursed chest event the way a monk does would require multiple skills that perform the function because Hurricane is inconsistent at best about pulling targets in and clumping them tightly.
Also barbs output some amazing damage when geared well.
Also it's probably entirely dependent on whether or not you have a group that allows you to play that way.

I don't get why barbs are not good anymore, whirlwind was stupid strong and blatantly easy to do once you geared for it. I dunno like I said before just throw rocks and wreck kids.

I peeked around some streams and they still look fine. I mentioned it a few pages ago but you can still WW infinitely, just requires a different build. I think it actually requires a ton less gear to do than the old build as well(needed good crit to sustain fury), although it does less damage at those gear levels obviously(probably better to just work with Seismic Slam or something).

What skill selection do you have for it? I got a level 60 monk lying around with no gear, so probably going to do full tank build since it seems fairly cheap.

http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#bVgdfQ!aYT!ZaaZYc probably somethng like this exploding palm is mostly good because its max hp based meaning your dps can focus down 1 or 2 targets and the rest will explode
the screenshot is suspect because it doesnt show what he was doing, having 2 mil toughness all the time vs having 2 mill toughness for 3 seconds i can get like ~4 mil toughness by leaping into a bunch of enemies

Great, now I'm a traitor to the species because I didn't like Buffalo Soldier enough to care about the rest of Bob Marley's music. I would rectify this except that I know there are a billion other artists out there that I'm sure people think I should know that I don't. I guess I'll start radioing the martians right now...

No day 2 for me . 3-2-1. Last round lost to Zoo who mulled to 4 but turn 3 blood moon and that was that.
