And yea, Demon Souls > Dark Souls in terms of difficulty, but I enjoyed Dark Souls overall a little more. Penetrator can be a bitch (especially the walk to him) first playthrough, but there's no real "specific level" you should fight him at. 5-10 SL's will at best let you get 3-4 shotted than 2-3 shotted.
Honesltly, Penetrator is+ Show Spoiler + harder than Gwyn, imo. Gwyn
I'd agree, Dark Souls feels a lot more polished to me. But I like the upgrade system in Demon Souls better. All the paths are useful at all stages in the game. Kind of nice.
In Dark Souls like 5/7 suck. lol.

Wave, we've been telling you to go to blighttown because it is where you have to go next. That's where the next objective lies. We are looking forward to it because it's fun to watch you suffer. But ignoring that, it is where you need to go.

How come soniv doesn't get in trouble for Spoilers? His are even relavent to Waves' next 20+ hours of playing time.

One thing I do miss from Demon Souls -> Dark Souls was the World Tendency. Allows a really cool element to the game, plus the Black World Phantom NPC fights (Satsuki/Selen/Scirvir) were some of the most challenging/fun fights in that game.

because he has probed every place and is openly questioning where to go. I remember being in the same spot and really struggling where to find the next part. Figuring out I needed to go to blighttown was kinda annoying and tedious. And wave has also partly avoided blighttown only because of the terrible things he's heard about it (which are almost all heavily exaggerated).

it's too bad that the most fun boss fight is locked behind DLC, although if you're on PC it doesn't really matter. At least with demon's souls king allant is just part of the main story.

More Dark Souls spoilers
+ Show Spoiler +Seath and the Witch of Izalith were just as easy as Nito... what the hell? I feel like these fights should be more of a challenge, considering they're giving me Lord Souls. It's a serious hype killer when they just roll over and die. I dont even think Seath attacked me once.

+ Show Spoiler +Bed of Chaos is super easy, Seath is more about getting the Moonlight Greatsword by cutting off his tail, getting to him and curse, that's it. 4 Kings will be harder
All depends on Soul Level though, but those guys are tough even if you're SL 120 if you dont know what you're doing.

I went to sauna yesterday, it was pretty good

Ok i have extreme fucking backpain right now. I have a doctors appointment for thursday but holy fuck im not going to last. Some tell me how to take away the pain. Its lower left back, constant-dull pain with massive surging pain if i move in the wrong way. Im basically forced to walk like a cripple because if i stand upright i get huge shooting pains that make me drop to my knees. Ive fallen over in pain more then once in the span of 24 hours, the spasms of pain make my muscles give way or something.
Halp me pain relief.
