I had no idea why he did zero damage despite his crazy attack stat.

I wouldn't recommend FFTA over LoD, FFTA quickly becomes boring because enemies have little to no abilities learnt, the AI sucks, and you can start brreaking the game super early. In comparison I find LoD has more replayability and is more of a challenge. The system's def less intuitive and a bit more annoying/grindy though ("You want a good Witch? Use her as a Witch in battles and try not to make her level-up. Switch her to archer and do a quick training when you're close to leveling up, then back to Witch. Better Witch than a Witch!"). Minish Cap was... it wasn't bad. The Wind dungeon is really cool, with a catchy theme, nice ambiance and graphics with the sky and stuff, the game itself is super cute, there are amusing cameos (like the oracles), a bunch of sidequests, you get to get pawed by intrigued cats when you're Minish-sized! there are several good ideas along the theme of "different perspective when you're 1'' high". But the game was so damn short, and the encyclopedia/collectible miniatures minigame was so grindy it quickly felt annoying. The gameplay with all the new sword techniques (compared to LA and OoA/OoS) and being able to roll around was pretty refreshing tho. And the way the Minish say "Hello!" or "Yao~" when prompted is so cute, nnngh... If you play Golden Sun you'll have to play the 2nd tome afterward, but don't fret! It's nothing like a chore. Game's too good.

Need suggestions, if you kindly will (sorry I am picky): - has to be playable on my phone (not platformers which require too much sensitive control, e.g. castlevania, mario) - not pokemon (i am too used to the physical magical split to play gen3) - not final fantasy (re-played 4 5 6 and ffta already) - not fire emblem. WARIO LAND 4 Occasionally has tricky jumps, but it's really more of a puzzle-platformer. Also it's pretty much the greatest. Seriously, everyone should play it.

Plus it's a Wario Land game so you can't go wrong with it. Great music, lots of little details like idle animations and such that add to the charm, nice level design, a bit short and lacking in replay value apart from the odd level or trying to find every secret (esp. compared to stuff like Wario Land 3's multiple secret endings) but it's a blast to play through the first time.

- Advanced War 2 (no point to play 1 since there is 2?) - Riviera: The Promised Land - Yggdra Union - Wario Land 4 - Golden Sun - Pokemon?!?!?! This will last me.... 4 weeks? lol. I actually did try some of Tactics Ogre: LoD. I hated it. Absolutely hated it. The block mechanics in that game is so dumb.... basically nothing happens in that game and there is perm death. + Show Spoiler + I have to say I hate FFTA's accuracy mechanics too. I like FFTA2's system. I have actually never played FFT before so I can't comment on that.

I think tactics games have a lot of potential on the mobile platform. In particular, imagine this.... a tactics game that plays kind of like pokemon... yes, pokemon. With infinite end-game possibilities and a lot of replayability.
