You know I have been encouraging you lately to expand your champion pool but not like this. If you want to experiment, do it in solo queue or do it in TROLLs. There is no basis to try out new/innovative stuff in these IHs when there are plenty of fundamental stuff most of us can work on as is. Alright, I just want to put it out there that I wasn't trolling or "experimenting" etc. I actually DID try Jungle Quinn (mostly because I saw it and thought it looked better than I thought) before asking our team if they're ok with it. I put forth why I thought it would be a good pick for our comp and my team was fine with it. I later asked DURR, Scip what they thought of the pick, they said it was bad so I'm not planning on playing it anymore. What I dislike is people assuming that I basically just wanted to rofl-troll when I actually played it to a point where I picked a workable rune page/mastery for the clear and how the path was going to look. I can hands down guarantee the ONLY reason I didn't die to shaco at my red level 3 was because quinn lets me pull the red lizard while the small one walked to the bush when shaco deceives into it. I apologize if people thought I was trolling or just messing around but I played it out pretty tryhard. I'm perfectly fine if people are uncomfortable about certain picks but I always run any picks I want to try out with my own team first. I obviously didn't want to ask the other team simply because I thought it would've been a good surprise pick. Btw, I've actually seen us play some very interesting "picks". I won't call them out but I really thought Quinn jungle was a much legitimate pick than some of the others. | ||

While there are obvious cases, there are plenty of edge cases where the rule is somewhat questionable. Things like Morgana Support (and Jungle?), Fiora, Talon, etc. While I do agree with the general rule, it's difficult to definitively state what constitutes as acceptable, and there is at least some interpretation needed during the inhouse lobbies on what is acceptable (in the event the picks are merely niche/less seen). Also, post Semi-IHs, lets go. | ||

But if Champion X is considered acceptable, why not Champion Y which may be more viable (aka, AP Teemo is probably more viable than Fiora, as much as it pains me to admit <__<;,). There is a degree of subjectivity here in edge cases, which the 10-mans need to decide for themselves (aka, 2sang is allowed to play Fiora, etc). Which, thus far, is going for super standard now after Ketara was confirmed fun killer. Don't disagree with the policy, just feel there's always going to be some fuzziness in champ select that needs to be resolved on a game by game basis, but a general rule of thumb is to keep things within the realm of reason and familiarity. | ||
