WHY IS IT SO HARD TO ADD AN ANIMATION FOR IF LOADING SCREEN IS WORKING SRSLY I DONT UNDERSTAND
|
This weekend I became toxic. I usually don't rage in this game unless someone on my team is being a dick to me, but this weekend I came to understand the dick's point of view. All weekend I went into games as toplane, either winning lane or drawing even, and then when lanephase ends my team is 0-20. Not exaggerating, this was about three out of four games. I started keeping track on Sunday. So, I went from Diamond promos down to plat 2.
The best thing about it was that when the 1/4 games came along that weren't autoloss I lost them anyway because I was so angry going into it and I made retarded plays. What goes around comes around I guess.

The best thing about it was that when the 1/4 games came along that weren't autoloss I lost them anyway because I was so angry going into it and I made retarded plays. What goes around comes around I guess. I'm relatively toxic myself but I limit it mostly to champion select. I'll do stuff like threaten to afk if I don't get a role or stuff like "it's ok, we can 3man bot np." I also afk in response to other players being toxic (ie if someone decides to feed from level 1, I just leave the game since that shit isn't worth my time, why play a video game if there's no fun to be had). If I've left a game relatively recently, to avoid getting flagged as a leaver I just kill jungle creeps for xp while alt-tabbing. Normally, I think i end up leaving 1/50 games or so, and I feel like I win more than a lot of other players simply because I don't tryhard/rage at the game. Just for the record, I've never been banned for anything outside of elo boosting.
I know for a fact plat 1 is the most toxic of all elos. It's the least fun elo to play/boost through since: 1. You have all the plat 1 tryhards trying to get into diamond and as a result these people are extremely toxic if you don't go with the meta or if you mess up. These people also think they are as good as faker despite the fact they're still platinum 2. You have the fresh diamond 5s who either bought their elo/account or don't give a shit cuz they are diamond and there's almost no risk of getting demoted. Bonus points when people go "Oh, plat 1 promos to diamond? Aw jeez, I'm starting to lag out of nowhere." It is less of a problem when boosting/smurfing since you'll be playing with mid-diamonds in your promos due to higher mmr, but you still run into this cesspool in plat 3 or so. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with people giving 0 fucks (see: every masters/challenger game that isn't a promo) since they are fun games, but if you're in it to get promoted, having that top mundo might be suboptimal.
The best bet to getting out of plat is to have a high elo friend with a gold account and duo for promos. Back when I boosted with a couple of high elo friends, we had these accounts we called "elo jetpacks" that were bronze/silver accounts that we were also boosting. Basically, you'd use these jetpacks to make plat 1 promos to diamond a complete joke since you were playing against low plats instead of the super toxic elo since the jetpack accounts were literally terrible mmr. It was killing two birds with one stone: the plat account would get to diamond very easily, and the elo jetpack gain mmr extremely quickly since the "bronze" players were now able to consistently win vs plat opponents. You can't do this with bronze accounts anymore due to the duo restriction, but it can still be done with a player with a gold smurf (most high elo players should have one)

When everyone's on 100% for like a minute and you're sat wondering if you crashed or it's just slow. Riot don't want you to feel certain.

My favourite thing is when I'm jungling and I see an enemy Shaco with ignite and smite. I wonder what's going to happen at my buffs this game, oh look you're invading me.

Guys, do you win games where you are not 15/2, 12/1, 20/4 etc. is it theoretically possible to win a game where you are something disgraceful like 6/6/1, 6/5/10, 8/5/12 ? I've read somewhere that this was supposed to be a team game where every player has a set of specific responsibilities and its not mandatory for you to participate in every dragon, turret, kill or non trinket ward placed on the map. Some of those things can be done by other team members. Can anyone confirm?

Michael Jordan put it best: "There is no 'i' in team, but there is in 'win'"

dear cait,
1) you have poke that can work through minions, an escape, and the longest fucking AA range in laning phase. you have zero excuse for eating 5 morg binds during lane while not all-inning, resulting in you going 0/4 2) if you cannot avoid morg bind, you are not allowed to blame the support who ate a grand total of 1 bind during lane despite being melee with relic shield or the jungler who "didn't gank bot enough" 3) if you really are 0/4 during lane, 30ish CS behind, and one tower down, you do not farm in the middle of lane by yourself against a 4/0 ADC. that is how you became 0/7
|
Jax, you should know by P1 that chasing a blitz+syndra under a turret is a bad plan. Taking a flash is already enough. You also shouldn't facecheck a bush after you've just seen 5 people in that area, especially alone.
How to lose lane from 0/0 even CS to getting crushed because the other guy gets 2 completely free kills.

KDA is pretty overrated; while good players will generally have good stats, your score isn't necessarily a good indicator of your contribution.
