People keep saying that you should be able to carry 4 other scrubs, if you belong in a higher elo, but they also say, pick champs that can 1v5 their team. But what if the team has already filled those slots and the only roles available are support or ad carry? Or ap carry? What then? This isn't just a one off occurrence for me, this is every game. Players just autolock Morde or Gragas or Lee Sin and think it's a free win. What do you do then? How do you climb elo when players are like that? What about if you're good at ad carries, but not tanky dps champs? Or good at supports? Surely high elo isn't just filled with players who are good at tanky dps? They must fill out reasonably balanced team comps no?

I seriously don't understand how a 19 year old dude can play way worse than a 11 years old kid. I think I never played a single game with him where he ended up not feeding, it's beyond comprehension for me how he can be so bad. And when I mean bad it's like he will be at least 0/5 before the end of the laning phase. every. single. game. Seriously. Meanwhile my brother is able to go 3/0 solo mid, and he's fucking 11 years old. T.T

When I saw the comp i told my lane-mate "don't worry, I'm gonna outfarm them and harass them like hell, easy lane". First minions wave, i missed almost every possible last hit by a little margin. So I started whining about lag ... First action vs Ez&Trynd, i piltover them well, ult ezreal while sona ults them both : almost no dmg. ... I realised that I was with the TankingAp template and runes... I did no damage until level 14 and IE+Phantom but we lost cause i had no farm/no kill on lane...

We still lose even though I'm wrecking their faces since our blitz is constantly pulling creep rather than heroes and our ashe is 1-10 .Second ranked game, one of my teammates dc's right off the bat and we end up losing. I'm never playing ranked again. Good day. How are normals any different?

I used to be that kid...it sucks thinking I have an advantage over younger gamers then getting raped by them. I'm not that good, but playing as ashe I was 12-2-14 in one game, and lost when I got aced since our teemo tried to backdoor in a 2v4.

The game continues, no one calls MIA except me, but that's totally fine and I don't ever mention that because I'm used to it and would rather not set people's backs up by complaining. Our jungler is Lee Sin and fails pretty hard against an enemy jungle Noct, so I take the initiative to keep times on all the buffs and dragon and tell my team when they're up. I find two opportunities to take dragon for my team and call for my team to come too. No one comes, but that's fine cos I can solo it and do so both times. The second time it happens, Noct comes to stop me and I get drag then kill him. My team was finally on their way from standing around at mid tower to come and help me, just as he dies and the enemy team shows up. I am cut off from my team and low health so I take a safe route away, telling my team to be careful. They get caught out and then rage at me in chat for always running away from fights (to be fair, I DID back off in most 2v5 situations when they arose) and just trying to get a good K/D.. We lose the game after one fight goes wrong and a few of my team get caught out in a bad spot. Fair enough, it happens. Admittedly, I did type "rofl" in chat on seeing the remaining Anivia and Vayne still trying to engage on the full health enemy team as I back away towards my tower. Afterwards, as the game ends, my team calls for everyone in the game to report me. Needless to say, the enemy team were confused and ask for a reason to, upon which the Heimerdinger replies "for spam".. Apparently calling "ss" and "re" and writing out buff timers in chat is spam..

Afterwards the other team says to me: You're bad all you did was stack health and win, riot real balance. I chucked heartily.

You won't just win your lane and stomp the entire enemy team every game like if you're in another role, so it'll take longer, but you're still in a position to make a decisive difference as a support player. There are plenty of players at high elo who specialize in certain roles. locodoco ad carry, oddone jungler, puregoldenboy support, etc

At 1300 ELO, I'm playing a ranked and we're losing the game big time. Their Lee Sin can just 1v5 us all and win. 50 min in, we are able to stabilize. Enemy gets baron but we manage to pick off their jungling Shaco. Next stop, team fight, we miraculously manage to win it, at the cost of my death. It's now a 4v0. My team pushes mid and tower is exposed. 15~20 seconds left until the enemy team is revived. But their shaco is already up, and tries to deny us. Ofc, 4v1 is pretty one sided and shaco can't do anything. In comes our udyr, who has been playing like shit the whole game and costing us the game. He dives shaco in the fountain. Nexus is at 50%, but we have no dps left. Their team revives and kills us. 15 seconds left to kill a nexus. We had this game won. How can 500 ELO junks be at 1300. I do not wish to play ranked anymore.
