My question has always been......who has FUN playing those champions? o_O Got an even better one. Our top is Jayce, opponent picks Irelia. Jayce gets destroyed. "Hey Jayce, are you maxing Q or E? - Q for harass". Guy gets in long trades and loses hard, feeds even. Every Jayce I've played against maxed E and knew how to disengage. The only one I've had on my team maxes Q. And can't even press E when Irelia Qs to him. Idiot. Also the enemy team gave Amumu a smiteless blue to steal Mao's red. Next time Amumu runs to our red, Jayce was forced to back, I ping Galio to help Mao defend, Galio doesn't move, Maokai gets killed by the enemy top. Love those teams. FP Nunu top, teammate immediatly dodges. Thank you Riot. Next one a dude from the previous one recognizes me and immediatly dodges. Third one, 2nd pick pretends not to be able to read what I say and picks top Olaf, prompting the enemy team to pick Teemo for Olaf and Lee Sin for me (since that fucking moron forced me to jungle) and now we're fucked since I can't counterjungle him, Olaf feeds Teemo, and I've got next to no experience in jungle Nunu. Egotistical fucking idiot. I play a lot of Jayce and I usually max Q first...the damage and wave clearing in ranged form is absurd and you pretty much guarantee that they will never be able to comfortably farm under tower. I'd only max E against stuff like Yorick where I have no hope of landing any Qs. But then if you do that you harass and push, you don't try to straight up trade and you don't complain about getting ganked if you took W at level 2 and thus had no knock-back or MS boost to escape, don't you?
Well yeah that sounds awful lol. I take E first just in case of that level 2 jungle gank then max Q.
The thing I do notice about a lot of Jayce players is that they try to sustain trades (sounds like your guy) which is absolutely awful. Jayce is all about unloading his 6 skills in rapid succession for insane burst and ending it with your knockback so they can never get sustained action against you. I think it makes him OP as shit since he doesn't even fall off like other burst ADs and bursts just as hard (and even better considering he can disengage at will).
IMO Jayce should never ever straight up lose a lane to anyone but Rengar.

I just noticed I was in the OP, and I have to say, I'm honoured. I am about to play ranked for the first time, and I'm nervous as fuck to be honest. I've heard tales of ELO hell and have nightmares of being stuck there. What if the people I play with suck hard? What if I suck hard? What if I or my teammates do amazingly well? What if the other team's actually TSM, but smurfing? Sometimes, I guess, you just have to bite the bullet and go for it, and do your best to not fuck it up. Hopefully Jayce is as OP as people say he is, I spent all my IP on him.

Be prepared to not play the role you like most. Try not to die. Don't do stupid stuff. Then you'll be fine.
Good luck :p

And I had to dodge because of a solo Corki top with promote and revive (he didn't get mid). Now I get to play in 25 minutes! Fuck

I have never heard a funnier experience for a first ranked game.

I never dodge those games because more often than not you end up actually winning them.
Off topic since it's not really QQ: I just won a game where first pick decided it's a good idea to say "me ad", pick morgana and then say "Morf pick ez, trade". The last 2 picks decided none of them wanted support, so they went nasus and WW. I counted it as loss the second the last player locked in. The game was full of people raging on both teams but at the end we easily won eventhough i hadn't played morgana in 6 month, mid is my worst role and i got counterpicked by Fizz.

Imagine if somehow Malph doesn't get banned and somebody who doesn't own him and never played him decides to pick him since "malph is OP and open". Well they can still do that, but they need to own the champ first.

That makes sense, so hopefully people will actually know how to use the champ, but I wanted to play Singed, and now it'll be a few days for me to get the 1100 IP I need for him.

Up to 8 dodges now! Sorry for hogging all the posts on this page. Oh wait, I finally locked in! It only took over an hour.
|
Never did "better" than 4. That's gotta be grating...
|
I've never seen that many dodges happen, I have counted 6 people in a row not pressing accept though. And that already annoyed me.
|
Some Jayce on my team was complaining Rumble was overpowered... he went 2 GP/10 first and never booted him off while flamespitter was on him. This was a ranked game and the guy was ~70% wins with Jayce. HMMM.

First ranked game out of the way, so I feel a little bit better now.

You could at least tell us how it went. x)

Thanks for your rage-suggestions guys ^^ I can't wait to try all of them and make everyone really mad
Another QQ: I think I have a compulsive champ buying syndrome My current account is summoner level 12 and I'm trying to save IP for tier 3 runes for the lvl 20-30 range but every time I collect enough IP I can't help it, I buy another champion. I always try to use all the free week champions but it feels real dirty and uncomfortable; the little capitalist inside me reclaims playing champions under which I have property rights. By now I've already bought Ashe, Annie, Garen (for 450 hue), Ryze, Nunu, Master Yi, Soraka, Alistar (free), Tristana (free), Malphite and Akali, and right now I have 1.1k ip and I don't think I'll be able to stop myself from buying TRUNDAMURRRR. QQQQQ At least I stopped myself from buying Kayle, Poppy and Sivir. For now... I don't even farm ip nor go for FWODs nor use boosts nor anything, which makes this IP melting tendency even more aggravating. That being said, I don't regret a single buy. But even then...
p.s. not a brag post in disguise

Holy fucking shit it was hard enough to carry wasabi on our 5's team, but when durr joined... gg. I've gone 18-4 with 1000000000cs and wasabi's 0-7 akali just derps around all day. They both ask me to carry them to gold, but they're too heavy, can't do shit when it's 3v5.
