I start a game, and it goes okay for the first 5 minutes. All of a sudden, it shits itself and attempts to auto recon-derp. I don't think the smart new auto-reconnect helps, because it just results in getting about .2 fps (its looks like a slide show with people jumping around everywhere) and a ton of ghost minions/champs and the odd glitched item (my philo turned into a black cleaver, wat?). Usually it clears up after I restart the client, but by then i'm enough behind for there to be a problem. Its especially frustrating when a teamfight starts. Today I was playing Taric, and I'm about to stun the adc who is slightly out of position, then run into the middle of the enemy team and r/w. Profit, right? Nope, internet trolls me and I lag out. Instead, all I can do is watch as I derp around, lose chunks of hp and die. Well, somehow we won the trade 2/4 because even derpy out of posiion Taric is hard to kill with ~3k hp, 300 armor, 200 mr. Good thing I was playing with friends who understood my internet problems, but I hate to screw them over. This is especially frustrating after I had a gtrio of beautiful games as support yesterday. Went 2/0/19 blitz, 0/0/12 taric and a 4/0/29 lulu. Now i'm hitting like 1/6/22 and stuff like that. I feel like such a feeder S;FSHLKJGKHLFDFD;dsf. Cox internet is just terribad. I have no idea how they were rated fastest connection in the US by PC magazine. Thank goodness I'll be back to school internet in a week.

Don't ignore everyone, just ignore everyone who is retarded as soon as they make their second retarded comment. Chances are that nothing useful will come out of them anyways, and it makes you play far better because you are not tempted to reply to their stupidity all the time. Makes games much more relaxed, while you can still communicate with the people who are saying useful things.

It's unlikely someone in my games will be significantly better than everyone else but it is very likely there is someone just starting who is significantly worse. At my elo there are a lot of new players who haven't reached their right level. Like Players 1-8 have 70-300 games and none of them are likely to feed. Player 9 has 25 wins. Player 10 has 35 wins. If one team gets players 9 and 10 then they have a 95% chance of losing. If both teams have one newb, then it just depends on which team gets fed off the newbs more.

At some point while playing with my 2k elo brother, I realized that you should be measuring the number of poor plays you make, rather than good ones. Always play exactly right in order to win games. Bad decisions and plays put your team in situations where they can also make bad decisions.

It's frustrating getting stuck with a carry that's not very good at recognizing those. I just had a game as Taric supporting a Twitch where I was just bossing it up, including feeding him a great double kill early on, excellent ward coverage, including wards deep into their jungle when the opportunity presented itself. I kept him alive really well too, and going on into the mid and late game, I managed to be pretty relevant for my team (including a clutch flash-heal onto our Karthus that saved him from dying while getting him a kill). Of course, Twitch thinks he's the hottest shit ever since he had a good score and was carrying at the end. "Oh, I can't carry this trash." "Fail team." "Fail support." Why do I even bother supporting idiots like that? If I see a sign that my AD's going to be a dick, I should just play something else or dodge.

So this was probably not the right thing to do, but after 3 games of having asshole egohead ad carries, I got tired of it. Got my adc pretty fed in three games going 0/4/X, 1/7/X, 2/5/X. The next game, I quickly get my adc Vayne a triple kill off a bad gank from the enemy team as Ali, and since he has IE before the other team has Dorans x2, it's looking like a quick and easy game. Too bad for him. He crowed about how good he was and how I was a feeder because I died (getting him the triple). You know how I died? He was almost dead from the gank with tumble on CD, enemy Tristana and Hec were going to dive him with Soraka coming close behind. I flashed right on top him, healed him, pulverized Hec/Tristana, headbutted Tristana into the wall, exhausted Hec while the turret beat the crap out of them. Since I was on top of Vayne, I took the combo meant for him and summarily died, and Vayne cleaned up those 3 easily afterwards. I was sick and tired of these ad carries who don't seem to understand how much decision making goes into keeping them alive in that sort of situation. I mean, would a little thank you be too much? Honestly, that play quite possibly won the game for us. Anyways, Vayne keeps talking about he's hot shit and how i did nothing and how support is ez, and I just got angrier and angrier. I tried explaining what I did there, and most of my team was on my side, except our jungler who told us to stfu and play. So I said fuck it. Vayne can carry right? I gave him a 3/0 from that one thing, plus the other 2 kills he got before that. 5 kill advantage, you dont really need Ali to do anything right? I mean, all a support does is afk and heal the ad carry and put down some wards right? Ok cool, that's what I'll do. I sat there. I healed him. I warded. Didn't try to make any plays for him by headbutting and pulverizing or anything like that. Didn't really try for brush control either. Didn't dive turrets. Nope. Just sat there and healed him as he said a support was supposed to. We lost that game pretty miserably. The enemy raka was not bad, and their Tristana was decent. Vayne ends up going 6/9, I finish 0/2/X. After game, enemy team asks how the fuck we threw that. I explain that I'm tired of getting shit from adc and not giving credit, and they kind of agree with me. It's kind of nice. Vayne rages to report me but I don't really care. I don't think I'll throw a game like that again soon, but it felt kinda good.
