Loss Forgivens all night, but I'm playing Diablo III. My friend logs on and asks me to play with him, even though I know he's terrible and I'm trying to raise my W/L. I figure 'Hey, Loss Forgiven, why the fuck not!' So we queue up, I go Viktor, we have a free week Cass, Corporate Mundo and my two friends (one good, one bad) are playing AP Soraka and Shaco respectively. We go up against a tryhard team with support and everything, lose quite handily, no ganks from Shaco, their Nunu and Fiddle trolling and trying Empire shit. What greets me upon losing the game 20 minutes later? LOSS | ||

Who are they? Nocturne, Akali, fed/farmed Singed, Alistar, Riven. What do? RUN AFTER THEM AND FIGHT DIRECTLY IN MELEE, DUH. That Teemo was such a moron... we had a godlike kiting team, and they never actually try it. | ||

We score a really well played FB vs. Trist / Alistar (!), but mid feeds a Ryze 5 kills in 12 minutes. I steal both their dragon attempts with my ultimate's splash damage but top feeds Irelia, too. As teamfights start (I have solid 170 CS at 20 mins) we group up but continue to lose every fight since Ryze just 3 hits everybody and those who survive get cleaned up by Irelia. I end the game at 0/3/1 despite a good performance (that Soraka was quite competent) without any chance to carry as the game was lost at 12 minutes already (team score at that point: 1/13). :/ | ||

You try to trade as Ashe against Sivir and you always ALWAYS run in front of your minions so that Blitz can grab you again. And again. And again. Or you engage properly after your support notified you of that, only to disengage as soon as Blitz is anywhere near, and leave your support to die instead of trading him for the enemy carry. Real strong decision-making here. Next game? More or less the same. "Oh I just ignored the support warning of an invade and got myself killed". Then top an dmid "oh I just fed him 2-3 kills, I'll keep diving and trying to fight head-on, that way I'll surely end up killing him someday". Sigh. Yeah, there's a snowballing meta: when idiots get dumber and dumber as they get behind. :/ Edit: 3rd game? Same s***. 4th? Ah, that one. Got Morgana. No dumb botlane à la Mundo-Akali this time. But an afk in champ select in enemy team. Back to queue. 4th bis? Morg not banned, last ban, ask captain to ban Rammus, since you ban either pick or counter Morg. Rest of the team agrees. Captain bans Morg. Fuck him. | ||

It's like, I used to hate urgot (and still ban him when I can get away with it) because laning against him feels like walking on a knife edge, desperately trying not to get hit by that one e that's gonna strip away 3/4 of your health and you just have to accept that you'll be shat on in exchange for your team having an advantage late game due to his only ok scaling. It's that same feeling of helplessness - reliance on everyone else to basically win the game/teamfight because there's no way in hell that you can contribute anything at all - but amplified tenfold. | ||

And fuck the people who say NOTHING at all ignore the fact that you say ''I'll lanewick solotop'' (shaco jungle in that one I think) then pick morde go top refuse to leave and then call you retarded for assuming that they would go mid. People fuck up and then blame someone else. All the time. Sometimes I even thing about ignoring everyone.the minute the game started. Actually ignoring the enemy team from the beginning might be a good idea. I think Riot should create a function to ignore all-chat. Then I wouldn't had to read all the stupid shit but don't miss important stuff. | ||
