Yeah, it's stupid that they don't fix it but it's still a pretty niche strategy, so can't really blame the loss on that.
8 rax on the other hand seems pretty overtuned on this patch/maps.

from 2019 to 2022 the matchup was pretty stable at 50% winrate
also pvz is at the exact same 55% in favor of protoss since the patch
if terran had to go through what zerg has to right now you would go absolute bananas my friend

My prediction for this series: Cure does random early game shenanigans, hero deflects them, then Cure dies once the game goes up past three bases.

Yeah, although the end result is not outrageous as the overall series was close, the fact stands that a unit literally bugged in favor of Terran played a significant role in it.
Anyway, the real question now is how many times will Cure pull the boys vs. herO? My favorite part of Cure"s series yesterday against ShowTime was when he pulled the boys three times on a single map.

Serious question, not balance whining. I have seen multiple protoss players taking advantage of the healing shrine on this map. It's obviously a buff to protoss. Have any of you seen any T or Z using the healing shrine at any point?
I guess Z using lategame ultras could find it useful?

I guess quite a lot of Toss units have relatively high HP, and units like marines and lings don’t.
It does seem strong, I wonder if it’s just the location, unit characteristics and game state.
You can poke around with stalkers and pop back to heal. And if enemy units are approaching the heal spot you can retreat. I only really see Toss make a huge amount of use when they’re in that stalker map control phase

Whether or not they are outright imbalanced, cyclones are not a niche unit. They are perfectly routinely played in the current TvZ meta. Swarm hosts are niche, cyclones are not.

Well, depends on your definition of niche.
They are not rare but also far from the standard, bio is still what you see in the majority of games.

It's instant double storms for any 1 HT warped at home. Which is ridiculously strong. Since other HTs only need 25 Blizzard seconds to get 1 storm, having that double storm instantly forces T to play cautiously immediately, which lets your other HTs get 1 storm each at least.

It’s not like Maru just revealed a pocket cyclone build, he went cyclone heavy pretty much most of that series to be fair.
If we’re talking lower level, they’re not especially niche on ladder and Zergs aren’t especially enjoying the Cyclone in its current form.

We got rid of warp in OFFENSIVE storms. Defensive storms are a different story and require multiple different investments to pull off correctly.
Of the things I want to complain about Protoss right now, that's the one thing I'm not complaining about.
I'm much more annoyed with how powerful Energy Replenishment is with Oracles and of course annoyed that everything in the update buffed the fuck out of Skytoss which of course we knew was going to happen.
