Jokes aside, this really looks like Maru-Rogue GSL final, albeit with Maru playing much better after dying to roaches.

Maru got caught with like 10 supposedly "singlehandedly game ending" fungal but was still able to drag it all the way to the end. How does that make him a better player? Because burrowed infestors fungals = bullshit So much easier to get them than to catch them and defend against them, the fact that Maru was able to make the game close while playing on this difficult map and against this stupid unit clearly shows he is better, like every single engagement that serral won was because of that, without that it would not even be close Build a raven? Ravens are way to slow to play on a map that big. The only option is mass orbitals and constant scans, but even then they stayed hidden

A decent player like Serral would just fly in with a few corrupters and snipe it. Easy.

No, other option = just fungal them normally and be the quicker player, normal interactions between spellcasters, thats how it should be
Yes, please work your slow-ass, short-ranged spellcasters into a ball of "spellcasters" with stupid amount of DPS that can cloak...

Not just that, but Maru's army is never moving in one large group, it's always moving in pieces. Ravens cost 150gas a piece, they build slowly, they move slowly, and they require a dedicated Starport to build.
It simply doesn't make sense to use them for detection when you are playing a mobile Bio style. A slower Mech style sure, but they just don't work with a Bio.

IDK, I feel like we need a 45 minutes split map game before Maru get roach-rush again

It's good that you're not letting the easy victory of your race derail you away from what's important

Agreed. This and Maru not ready for early game aggression g3 when he's clearly made Serral sweat lategame prev game shows more of the same stubbornness that usually gets him.

it will just get killed/sniped, and it would be way too expensive to continuously produce them, you think maru and the other top terrans never thought of that LOL ?

Serral is too smart, going for allins on the maps that aren't guaranteed wins for Zerg lategame. Few have as deep a bag as Serral or Rogue to play like that, those guys are untouchable in this series.

Proxy completely shut down. Getting spooky on the 4-0.

that opening wasn't really good

One of the reasons he lost to Serral. Cockiness. In terms of actual raw skill, I think even the biggest blindest Serral fanboys can admit that Maru is lightyears ahead in skill.

1)Rathuset has a 50/50 split between Terran and Zerg (according to Liquipedia) 2)I wouldn't exactly call a 45min game down to the last mineral patch "easy"...
