Maru got caught with like 10 supposedly "singlehandedly game ending" fungal but was still able to drag it all the way to the end. How does that make him a better player? Because burrowed infestors fungals = bullshit So much easier to get them than to catch them and defend against them, the fact that Maru was able to make the game close while playing on this difficult map and against this stupid unit clearly shows he is better, like every single engagement that serral won was because of that, without that it would not even be close
Almost like burrowed infestors are Zergs only real option to catch Ghosts who otherwise completly outrun their army and kill it in the process?

Some of these takes are so ridiculous. Nah, this map is so Zerg favored that terran is never expected to win. It shouldn't be in the pool. Combine that with infestors being impossible to see, and Serral getting at least 5 lucky fungals that dodged scans by one pixel Yeah Maru played better, that was one of the best terran performances probably ever I agree the map is stupid as fuck but to say he played better when he got caught by like 10 game ending fungals and didn’t do any damage to Serral the entire game is ludicrous. Yes he defended like a god and yes he had no chance because of the map but that doesn’t mean he was the better player. What did Serral do worse?
Fungals that Serral would not be able to land on a map that doesn't give his infestors a zillion places to hide.

Serral made mistakes in engagements was was caught out of position a few times when Maru pulled it back
Maru didn't really make any mistakes, I'm not sure how he could have played any better. He scanned his army for almost all those infestors but missed them by pixels which is just poor luck

Zerg wins everything every year, keep making maps that favor Zerg. The logic astounds me.
Where are the fucking Protoss favored maps if we want Protoss to win? Nope, just keep pushing more and more Zerg maps into the tournament pools every year.

Well this is a disappointing series

Man, i can't believe how much damage this is doing, the defense looked really good at first.
|
So Zerg can only win against a top tier Terran if they cheese, or if they play a Zerg favored map. Typical.

Non ZvZ Serral is untouchable

Aight give him the trophy. I ain't seeing it for Maru.

Looks like 4-0, Maru is godlike but being a god is not enough to win TvZ haha

Part of the reason why Protoss and Terran aren't doing well against Zerg.

So Zerg is underpowered and should get buffed? Gotcha, you all heard it here first.

You know, I still can't believe overlord pillars became acceptable to begin with. Maps have always been very generous for Zerg usually.

No biggie, Maru just need to reverse sweep Serral.

F, Maru played the standard opening like hes clueless to Roach aggression, Dark took 3 games from him doing just that again and again and he still doesnt learn from it.
|
Radhuset is bullshit, but Maru is the favorite against any other Zerg on the planet lol. The whining is ridiculous.

No, other option = just fungal them normally and be the quicker player, normal interactions between spellcasters, thats how it should be

give us one last close game at least, not 3 stomps please

The one-sided score does not tell the story of this match. These players are just far above everyone else.
