Hero used to build stasis wards constantly on the map with 4 or 5 oracles. Not doing anything like that this game, and it seems like he's being punished for it with how well the lings do against stalkers.

At this point, herO build and decision making in PvZ is worse than Creator and Classic. This could have been a 2-0 had Serral not lost those early Drones in game 1.

The 6 adepts and Oracle suiciding absolutely cemented the loss. Heros targeting was pretty bad in games 2 and 3 with adepts and oracles

I didn't see herO's exact gas count, but I think he delays/doesn't get extra extractors to get more bases + gateway units to keep up the pressure.

By the time you're against cracklings you should really reconsider though...

Maybe because he likes to skirmish with speedlots + blink stalkers, nice mobility and gives him pressure to take 4th, 5th behind it etc. The moment he got a big immortal count they ended up not being able to disengage and Serral could force fights. This is P's major, MAJOR weakness compared to Z/T - you can't disengage safely with high-tech units since they're slow as fuck.

Still think Archons would've been nice in g2, he had nothing vs lings once the ling count got big enough

I guess it’s a tempo thing, when he first started showing this style it was stalkers in your face one area, a big chargelot squad elsewhere, oracles causing mischief

If I’m unexpectedly doing well fighting a bear, Bigfoot or Mike Tyson by downing them and continually punching them in the face I’ll probably keep doing that than let up and give any space to both recover, and be very angry given I’d repeatedly been smacking them in the noggin.

Seems a tough transition to manage, it either snowballs momentum into killing blows, or you gradually lose steam.

Maru played that PERFECTLY but he could have never won that if Cure didn't poorly play it.


I am sure if you pause the game and give Cure 5 min to think about it he will do many of those things perfectly, the problem is that few SC2 players are that cold blooded. Actually I would say only Maru and maybe Serral if it wasnt for his early GG vs Ragna at kato are at that level.

I thought about doing that. If a game gets crazy, just pause, ask for a minute and think what I need to do to win (and hope my opponent doesnt). Never did it though, mostly because I always forget but also because its kind of a dick move to pause without a valid reason.

Wouldnt work in pro games of course, you cant pause for no reason there.
