Byun even recently beat Hero 4-2 in a bo7 they played suggesting that making it to the finals is far from an inevitability for Hero. | ||

btw.: if hero/maru have black out in the next group stage and don't advance, will the tournament be more interesting? because it will be hard to tell who is favors? | ||

In fact he received the PartinG award in 2019 for 10 consecutive ro16 finishes and I don't think he got eliminated in the first round since then, so he probably had an insane strak going | ||

His control/micro leaves a lot to be desired but more than makes up for it with positioning and army comp and transitions. If Maru is able to adapt the earlier and heavier tank/ghost incorporation then I feel like the matchup will start to look hopeless from the Zerg PoV. The creep spread did feel a little lackluster from both Zergs, perhaps just wanting to have the extra transfuses. | ||
