To be fair the nerf looked terrible when Zest blinked dts onto a terran army and they died before swinging once lol. I wouldnt mind changing it to they can instantly hit units but attacking buildings would have the delay (so turrets dont just get smacked instantly), or just revert it completely.

No Lurker, no Viper and no Muta whatsoever, thats just insane. He did go for Mutas in the last game vs trap but then just died tbf.

It was too powerful before. P had the advantage against T before because of constant waves of DTs killing expensive planetary ezpz while also having amazing combat utility to get free swipes on terran bio and the ability to get away. Now with the nerf the terran has just that much more time (not much even with the nerf) to defend the base against DT harrass but even still DTs can get the job done. The nerf is honestly not that big of a deal. same as the widow mine nerf, almost inconsequential. edit: replied to the wrong person lol

Yeah, but he also started Roach speed, +1 Melee and 30 lings into double Colossi, and end up with only 6 Muta, panic and make more Roach. That was a very bad tech build and throwing away larvae for no good reason.

With that option nerfed with no compensation I fear Protoss won't have the tools anymore to disrupt a terran just macroing up on Bio + buffed Ghosts + Libs against Disruptors. In general it feels weird to me to only buff/nerf one side of a matchup when previous balance was 50/50

Solar threw that game 2 pretty damn hard.

I felt toss had the advantage by quite a bit. Even now with all the splash i think toss is still very strong. the answer to turtle terrans is tempest which terran still doesnt have a very clear answer to.

Lots of action-y games, and longer macro games too. I'm so happy Creator finally advanced!!! Even though he was prone to falling apart in the past, he still showed very impressive skills in the last couple years. Who remembers that group with Creator, Zest, Patience, which had lots of really intense, close, action packed PvPs (Stalker Disruptor?) He barely lost to Zest and didn't make it out. He has moments of brilliance and I love the way he plays, it just seems like he tries so hard and is so ambitious. I'm glad he said he was able to move out (of his house? or did the interpreter mean that he moved out of his group), and that his mentality has improved. Perhaps the skills were always there but it was them mentality that'd cause him to fall apart in games. Gumiho's play was exciting to watch too, he's so aggressive with his stims. I think he would have beaten Creator or at least won that climactic fight in G3, if he had Yamato'd ASAP after jumping his BCs on Creator's fleet... I'm going to guess he might have wanted to shift queue yamato, but messed it up somehow? He didn't yamato until very late into the fight, and only like 3 BCs yamato'd, and they barely killed anything since it wasn't focused and the Carriers were near shield batteries. Waiting even 1 second after jumping to yamato makes a big difference in how the fight plays out, you NEED to yamato right away. But I'm happy Creator pulled through in the end! G3 vs Gumiho was suspenseful for me, I liked both plays and wanted both to advance, but wanted Creator more because of how hard he's been trying and how close he's been so many times to pulling off greatness. G3 could have been a little less passive, or maybe if the players took more time to get rich we could have had a more juicy long game of lots of huge fights, but the game we got was still suspenseful and showed how much each player wanted to win and how careful they were trying to be, all while trying to keep a very strong army to simply not die. Gumiho's games vs Trap were exciting too, lots of back and forth and like Tastosis mentioned, it's like the game would just swing back and forth. One player would lose an engagement badly but somehow do significant damage back to the other player. SC2/LotV has really evolved to such an amazing state, I love it! Who says there is no early game? I felt bad for Solar losing soo much to those huge Disruptor shots. In one shot he lost like 4 Ravagers and 4 Roaches... instantly dropped from 86 to 66 supply, holy shit lol. I didn't even know you could fit that many units into 1 shot! Creator vs Solar was really exciting too, that was a disgusting cheese g1, g2 was really close and intense and the way Creator swung it at the end, just barely keeping his defenses together with his army spread out across such a wide arc around his bases, was awesome. And Creator's cheese g3 was awesome!! So happy Creator WON his group holy crap, probably my favorite protoss now that sOs is retired.

Protoss has all the tools to win, but the bench is so shallow... Trap is still the #1 P, but the skill gap between him and top T/Z players is tough to overcome.
