A new tournament has been announced - the Xel'Naga Finest. The event is organized and admined by QLASH and will take place in 6 subsequent weeks and is open to all players in Diamond league or above. It will be casted live by Rotterdam and Wardi on the Red Bull official channel and will have 500 EUR prize pool every single week. It will be hosted on the EU servers and the winner of each weekly event will have a chance to challenge Reynor.

Probably not. Just a Showmatch. At this point Clem and Reynor probably know each other inside out

The match between the winner of each event and Reynor is for quite a sweet AOC monitor.
If the winner of the event wins the showmatch against Reynor he gets the monitor. If Reynor wins it, we will giveaway the monitor during the next stream to the Twitch viewers.

Last weeks seeding was Kung Fu Cup level seeding. Don t see a way to improve on that
It gives great games from Round 1 (or maybe 2) and in a more fun tournament like this, I m allright with that
Maybe just seed the top 4 an leave the rest as it was :D should be fun.

For some reason the sign up button on challonge is not working properly, just loads and does nothing. Has anyone had any issue like that before and knows a fix? I cant find anything online..

hi everyone, seems like there is currently a global challonge problem where you can't properly sign up to tournaments.
Please use ''sign up with alternative name'' when in the tournament page as a workaround if the main sign up button doesnt work!
Please also use a very close version of your real nickname so you can be easier to find ingame. For further updates join the discord server where we have constant tournament support.

I really like that the winner of this tournament gets the chance to play Reynor. Like sure winning 250 dollars and beating top players including Serral is nice.
But the chance to play Reynor at the end must be amazing.
Of course you dont get any money from it, and you just played 6+ hours of starcraft 2 in a competitive setting just to win some money, but you get to play Reynor! Who is one of the best zerg players in Europe, fantastic stuff.

Turns out the only players that were able to take a Map of Clem yesterday were Serral and freaking MAXPAX with that amazing Proxy Tempest build :D

Clems TvZ is the real deal, holy shit.
The way he utilized the map to his advantage for his drops and his splitting and baneling focus fire are out of this world.
Very happy to see that TvZ late game seems more balanced again these days. The map pool seems to be slightly Terran favored right now, but I prefer that to the pre-Blizzcon state of the game for sure.
TvZ with a constant Muta/Ling/Bane vs Bio Tank or Bio Mine battle in the midgame that actually has the chance to transition into an awesome late game has always been my favourite starcraft to watch and I am so glad it is back !

I get the point of EPT from ESL' weeklies, but it would be weird for any other weekly, plus the fact that Reynor is the last boss would be unfair too.

The whole reason the final boss was Reynor was because Redbull sponsered this event and their player is Reynor. Serral wouldnt want to "waste" his time by playing the winner of this tournament lets be honest. Rather have them remove this final boss thing, or atleast make it a good money match so its worth the players time.
