Brazil doing underdog cheese here? At least it worked in the first game and the games are super short!

I had to run so missed the Germany match and China Brazil until now, how were Big Gabe matches vs special / showtime game? How strong Germany played?

First match between Gabe and SpeCial was super fun, very action-packed back and forth game. Absolutely recommended.
Rest of the games were pretty dominating for the Germans.

Is it just me, or is there an absolutely inordinate amount of TvT's relative to the actual number of Terrans in the tournament? I'm getting really frustrated lol. Foreign tourneys are always so low on Terrans and then they keep getting thrown into TvT.

Edit: First Terran game of China vs. Brazil is Kelazhur vs. Time!!! What is going on?

Just joining now. Any of the China-Brazil games that have been good?

I think it's about the maps. Yesterday there were also almost only mirror matchups at the proleague stage. That's one way to achieve balance

That was a sick game, seeing lurkers in this matchup is so rare

Yes, yet another way of abusing cheap nydus spam.

That map is extremely difficult to get across for Terran as well, Time never got anywhere close to anything with his "pushes" and left himself open to backdoor attacks every time he tried.

I simply can't believe people can watch that Erik vs. Time game and come away thinking that Erik played well and not that Zerg has gigantic balance issues

How are you ever supposed to stabilize against nydus spam...there's no win condition against it. You just keep trying in futility until you get your production camped.

Erik did play very well, and Time not so much, he lost way to much orbital he could have save, give time a few more scan and he can punish Erik lurker play so much more

This is the kind of absurd victim-blaming that plagues the SC2 community.

There is a reason why the new patch is already being used in tournaments. Blizzard can be very slow to react some times.

Erik vs IASONU was a very interresting ZvZ, very recommended if you like close and wacky games!
