Yes but as pro gamers they get to wake up relatively when they want so they might be used to go to bed pretty late after midnight so it becomes difficult to be sleepy early enough to be fresh at 4am

Until Friday it’s one group per day, the two matches and winner’s match, so they didn’t play after SK won.
Then they finish ro16 (loser’s match and decider’s match) for each group Saturday and Sunday
Ro8 is 30november - 1st December and offline playoffs 8 december

First match between Gabe and SpeCial was super fun, very action-packed back and forth game. Absolutely recommended.

I think it's about the maps. Yesterday there were also almost only mirror matchups at the proleague stage. That's one way to achieve balance

There is a reason why the new patch is already being used in tournaments. Blizzard can be very slow to react some times.

I think Germany is their worst matchup possible, I'd say Korea is the weakest and Finland would be better than Germany too. I think Scarlett has a better chance of going 2-1 vs Serral then 4-1 against team germany

Ro8 is on the new patch allready, so that s probably not true anymore. But I would still rate Mexico below USA and ITA. The question is, how good are MLord and Clem be after the patch? Especially Clem has been crushing it and I would consider him the strongest french player right now, up there with foreigner Terrans like Special, Big Gabe and Time

Neeb’s still scary but he’s not quite the prospect he was a couple of years ago. Now he’s just a better player than France’s boys but not a whole other level above like Serral would be.
I quite fancy France’s chances. Clem has really good vP from what I’ve seen and Marinelord is no slouch plus has practiced a lot on this patch.
This patch may end up with Protoss being fine vT, but I think initially they’re going to struggle a lot.
The current meta if we’re not cheesing is a really greedy third and powering hard. Neeb is even greedier than most in this respect and I’m not sure the charge nerf specifically will allow us to be that greedy and it’ll take time to work out.
I’m sure many of us have seen plenty of games where the Protoss barely, barely holds the initial big Terran push. I don’t think we hold those on the upcoming patch so we’ll have to work out where the greed/safety line is and I’m not sure we will have figured that out by the time the patch hits.

Clem has really good vP from what I’ve seen and Marinelord is no slouch plus has practiced a lot on this patch. This patch may end up with Protoss being fine vT, but I think initially they’re going to struggle a lot. The current meta if we’re not cheesing is a really greedy third and powering hard. Neeb is even greedier than most in this respect and I’m not sure the charge nerf specifically will allow us to be that greedy and it’ll take time to work out. I’m sure many of us have seen plenty of games where the Protoss barely, barely holds the initial big Terran push. I don’t think we hold those on the upcoming patch so we’ll have to work out where the greed/safety line is and I’m not sure we will have figured that out by the time the patch hits.
Maybe I'm just being a homer but I do think Neeb is on a completely different level especially now that he got back his legendary lategame PvZ.
I think Neeb will be fine against any Terran except a Korean one, even with the dumb chargelot nerf, and the only way he'll run into one of those is if America makes it to the finals. Well, Special might be dangerous as well since he will probably be among the first to find away to be abusive with the new patch lol.
Thank FLASH that the ro8 will be played on the new patch though. Neeb is more than capable of beating Serral as long as lategame is not auto win for Zerg.

I don't consider Finland a real team since only Serral is competitive. On the more balanced patch, Serral is probably mortal and you can prepare only against him whereas Germany has 2 blizzcon caliber players and a good player, with all three races.
South Korea is usually stronger than Germany, but since it's online with lag and potentially bad hours for Korea again, I'd say Germany is more difficult than the weakened South Korea.

The real story of Nation Wars so far is that both Terran and Protoss currently have win percentages above 50 over Zerg, and that's even with Scarlett's, Serral's, and Reynor's all-kills. We gotta roll these Zerg nerfs back ASAP.
