One of the worst GSL finals. Was terrible to watch. Trap may have made some mistakes but ZvP is currently really terrible. In case you haven't seen it yet, skip it. I should have stopped watching after game 2 but I thought it would get better. Was wrong.

I usually don't complain about game design or balance but this was just stupid.

I only saw the first and last game but I would say the final is actually Dark vs Rogue. That was definitely a nail-biter series.

I saved this GSL finals to watch while I ate dinner after work... What a mistake, two games in I gave up, could tell the series would be garbage after that.
Disappointing.

Horrible finals. The game is in a bad state right now. Nyduses, infestors, and brood lords make for poor games.

In 2019:
soO won his first significant championship
Dark made and then won his first GSL finals
Rogue made his first GSL ro4, finals, then won the tournament.
It is the first year in LotV and first time since 2015 with 4 ZvZ finals of significant tournaments.

And Zest could have won that 4th game had he stormed better in the final engagement and didnt clump up his army. I'd like to see storm drops before the infestors get neural.

Of the last 40 tournament finalist, 22 were zerg and of the last 20 champion 13 were zerg.

Don't feel bad, complaining about balance and game design is basically what game commentary is about at this point. Even Tastosis are saying it all the time.
