As long as they outrange everything else they can still kite, the nerfs to speed and health just raise the control bar and punish mistakes harder. Which I think is a good thing, personally, free damage/units/etc just aren't good design. Everything needs a drawback. They are not as good as they used to be even with perfect control. Their current speed tier is pretty useless and doesnt make up for the massive durability nerf they got. They get caught easily now. I think the speed tempests were broken, but i dont think the durable ones were.

Yeah... but nevertheless being saturated 36/16 on some of your bases is suboptimal.

They're perfectly fine in the dumpster.

But hey maybe Cure just doesn't want the grand prize of playing Dark in the next round.

I think the speed tempests were broken, but i dont think the durable ones were. I agree, durable Tempests were fine. But first they traded health for speed, then Blizzard decided that was OP and nerfed speed. So now they have neither. And while they are 100% weaker than when the changes started, it's not enough of a problem to justify buffing them, so they're stuck being weaker. That's just the way that the balance cycle works.
