He adjusted his headset several times and wiped his forehead so his hair went all weird (that's why I remembered it). I think it was nerves and not illness, but yeah, Serral was definitely not on top of his mental game today. Nah they both had the same conditions. Also Inno didn't look that sharp today either. Just feels like excuses to me. I admit Serral looked super nervous and kind of scared or not in it but that's kinda his fault ain't it (can't really say which emotions were there for sure just very emotional for his standards)

The casters were mentioning that this was fairly normal for Serral, and maybe I'm just used to GSL players having fairly robotic reactions, he just seemed kinda...off. Inno is my favorite player of all time and I think GSL is still by far the toughest tourney in the world, so I'm stoked with the result, I'm just wondering if anyone else was thrown off when they showed shots of Serral. as we say where im from innovation had serral shook

The same people who laugh at "MAru doesn't care" are now proclaiming Serral almost dying at the stage.

This is just further prove that he's the first SC2 bonjwa, imagine him in shape... Inno would've stood no chance

imho all players were affected by it to some degree and lead to lower level of play than usual

Source? He seemed to have no "mouse holding" issues. Come on, it's obvious. At one point he even had to play with his tongue on a trackpad, instead of holding a mouse, that's how bad it was.

Probably the best zvt of all foreigner not living in Korea, so if he work on it/ goes to KR for a while he could be fine.

Not rocket science either, Serral is a European who lives and plays in Europe. Who can he practice with that's on the level of top Korean Terrans?

As semi-rabid Serral fan, I hastily note that of course Serral has weaknesses! Question is: Relative to what or who? Even his weakest match up cannot be said to be weak if we compare across whole field, or only if we just look at the pool of top players. It was not like Inno had easy milkrun in a park today, right? Serral put best resistance against him than anyone else in the tournament.

"Serral's ZvT is underdeveloped compared to his other matchups lol" Was what the OP said, and that's a very obvious truth, since it's relative to his ZvP and ZvZ. Certainly Serral has excellent ZvT, he's beaten Inno before after all, and took him to Game 7 here. But I would argue that Rogue and Dark have a better understanding of how to play against top Terrans–just watch how Rogue took Inno apart at IEM.
