Yes finally! Here it is guys, Serral lost because he was sick. Korean elitists probably poisoned his drinks.

When he has only 1 MU to practice and there's this risky sOs involved? nah

yes.... 4-3 is 'completely dominated and crushed', Sit the fuk down.
Well, Serral had to cheese to had a chance to not get smacked
Rogue defeated Soo and Innovation a couple of times. But, he got wrecked by Serral. Then, Serral got demolished by both Soo and Innovation in the sick close series.
From my observation,
Serral is very powerful against Protoss player. His ZVZ is still pretty good, manage to triumph over Dark and Rogue. But he is very weak against Terran player. Thus, if he fight against Maru, I am pretty sure that there will no close series like this. It was just that Maru's TvT was not good, you may see that he always titled whenever he faced Bunny, TY or Innovation.

Weather in China is also not desirable , it is super cold, so if Serral was already sick it is likely that he felt really bad for the finals

fixed that for you. Edit: also Maru almost lost to Scarlett today, so nah
Serral losing to Innovation doesn't feel as bad as it would've felt if he has lost to Maru, who is currently objectively worse player than Innovation (the guy who just beat both of them in his last 2 games).
Now, Inno vs. sOo final soon please.
Serral vs Maru Bo7 with few thousand bucks prize money (maybe for some charitable causes so they would take part by social obligations from their fanbases) should be just sponsored and arranged out of competitive schedules to end that topic, as it seems that gods of SC2 doesn't favor that match up otherwise.

yes and when Maru does it no one bats an eye.. these double standards man Cheesing is a part of the game... It's not like Inno didn't cheese this series (once)
Terran will always be the golden child and gain all the positive bias
that's just how starcraft has been since the sc1 days

Is that why Maru cheeses all the time?
It's possible, nobody ever asked the little guy about it.

Seriously though, I do kinda agree with him. After Game 4, Serral went to put on his headphones and his hands were literally shaking. He adjusted his headset several times and wiped his forehead so his hair went all weird (that's why I remembered it).
I think it was nerves and not illness, but yeah, Serral was definitely not on top of his mental game today.

I don't know, he was probably tilted. Also INno was sometimes also sloppy in his unit control

I wouldn't say based on him losing 3-4 to the probably best TvZer in the world that his ZvT is "very weak"

he still has better form than maru currently but yeah,i don't think dude could win against 2018 maru in a bo5 let alone a bo7

It means we'll get our hopes up again come GSL vs The World. They'll both be within a round of meeting each other again. Then this time, Maru will crap the bed and get eliminated by a Zerg this time.

Adrenaline does that too. And I think that using 400 APM against someone you know you weak to while fighting in the finals over 100k (that's the diff between 1st and 2nd, right?)... My bet is on that little bastard. Also causes an erection to some falks

1. I don't think Maru vs Serral has the hype anymore now that they aren't the 2 best players in the world anymore. 2. Maru doesn't seem like the type of player who takes these kind of showmatches seriously.

Whatever it was, it looked weird. The casters were mentioning that this was fairly normal for Serral, and maybe I'm just used to GSL players having fairly robotic reactions, he just seemed kinda...off. Inno is my favorite player of all time and I think GSL is still by far the toughest tourney in the world, so I'm stoked with the result, I'm just wondering if anyone else was thrown off when they showed shots of Serral.
