Btw. did you guys notice that the korean "weekender" scene has been kinda unstable for years? Sure, sue to region lock, we don't have that many korean weekender pefromances, but there are some Korean/Chinese tourneys etc, yet there is noone as dominant as Taeja used to be.

If you aren't new to sc2 you know that people have had an undo amount of love for Snute, Mana, Naniwa, etc. because of their foreigner status, and Serral's fanclub probably hasn't grown much since winning GSL vs The World.
By the way, his dominance isn't unprecedented, because Serral barely plays against top players. Life and Innovation both had stronger periods of dominance, even if they didn't win 25 series in a row or whatever. Not to mention Maru's 2018.

Well, because unless you're new to SC2 you saw this happening with multiple foreigners and when there's a pattern repeating I will call it as a fact until proven wrong. And it's not just me who's calling it. Deal with it and accept it finally.
