I kinda want Serral to lose. I find predictability boring, and last year's Maru/Serral was only interesting in the promised confrontation at Blizzcon. Then Maru choked. Never been in this position with regards to a foreigner though, so that's funny. Even the most entertaining player becomes boring after winning too often, that's true. However, Serral is one astonishing player and I feel we haven't seen enough of him yet.
Yeah, I'm still not sick of him, but I'd be entertained if someone else beat him.
And obviously if the games themselves are fun, that's better than who's playing.

Considering the only Zerg he has faced in this tournament have been Zanster and Impact (who he lost a map to) I have zero faith in that outcome, especially since it looks like the meta is very Zerg favored right now.
In fact I went back and looked. Other than the win over Impact, the last top Zerg that Stats has actually won a series against was soO back in September in Super Tournament 2.
Since then he's lost like 8 series. I have zero confidence in his PvZ lately.

Really rooting for soO here, hopefully he can make it close at least

He would get absolutely rekt. On the assumption that soO is better than Zhugeliang? Well EU Zergs are obviously better than KR Zergs, but if we readjust the MMR I'd say soO is mildly favored

may the best player win show us a good series boys

soO will now smash Serral like it's nothing, then he will dodge the chaotic balls from herO only to lose the grand finals 4:2

A thought came to my mind: What if Serral is actually a god Elfi in disguise?

Lol, Serral playing as Terran now would lose, for sure. If he switched race and practiced he could get there, his mechanics are top notch! Imagine what he could do with his multitasking.

Wow perfect 50/50 balance in quarterfinal and semi :O

For the record Stats did the same build every game in the open bracket until Impact blind countered him.

Love both of these players, I will be happy whoever wins. soO finally winning the whole thing would be magical though!
