Hero is an excellent player and has been for ages, he's dope at PvP so things have worked out in his favor but seriously someone unexpected gets on a hotstreak like every tournament I swear people go out of their way to not enjoy what they're watching I literally said nothing about being unhappy with this, I've always liked herO and its great to see him get a good result after such a bad 2018. stop putting words in my mouth Gotcha-- confused your sentiments with one of the ragers in the thread complaining about him making it through

herO with the great logic: "If I put myself in front of the train and stop it I will feel very confident for the rest of my life"

In any of case, that era is over! This was a very bad tournament for Terran but I don't think this will be the trend for the next korean/international tournaments(no hope in WCS unless Clem becomes Reynor or Serral starts playing offrace in non finnish cups). We were done with this and contemplating why nobody understood PvP and here you are bringing it back
Wasn't really reading the comments about PvP weirdness.
It's Serral's time now, I'm eager to see whether his defeat of yesterday meant anything to him and how he compares to soO in ZvZ again; he was kind of Serral's nemesis in the matchup before his ascension but he lost at HSC. Serral should be able to win the bo5, not expecting another 3-0 tho.

The best thing I can say about the last series is that it was quick and painless and not a drawn-out death animation like TY had against Solar.

It's not a random idea that the #1 and #2 in Korea is not soO...

Would Serral lose, i'd root for Neeb. Then Stats or soO.

soO please kill Serral and win the whole thing. You don't have a lot of opportunities tbh.

Wow what a terrible day of Starcraft so far. If you'll excuse me I think I'm done for the day.

soO don't need opportunities, he create his own
And then he throw them away

I just need at least one of Stats/Dark/soO to win so I still have someone to cheer for tomorrow.

This next series could be the pace-changer for a pretty awful day so far. Although if it's just a 3-0 for Serral I don't see things getting any better

soO was actually the last player to beat Serral offline in 2018, so he could be considered his nemesis even after not being top2 korean anymore.
Anyway, do you know how good is soO at playing Protoss? It's Serral's least favored race, he should be about Zhugeliang's Z level.
I was expecting a ZvZ but clearly IEM knows better so let's get ready for another intense PvP!
