Serral had one upgrade advantage (armor) and his army was smaller but not half the size of solar's one. If that`s the case, i apologize, i must have missed the carapace upgrade, but you re probably right about that. Gonna edit my post. But im fairly sure the army size was around 50%, but I will check it once the vod is out.

I am really disappointed, I thought inno would be sharper, he looks disappointed too.
On the other hand.. I picked Serral as my number one for group... yet I am still surprised he hasn't dropped off in abilities after being on top for so long.

Looking bad for T now that Inno lost to gumiho

There are so many things Serral does right at the same time in that game.
Realizing a tumor prevents the block of the wall, killing it and dropping a major building wall, otherwise 100% dead. Squeezing out a carapace upgrade to create an advantage meanwhile Canceling upgrade to increase the production when realizing the timing of the push The defensive positioning to compensate for supply disadvantage Sacrificing overseer to delay upgrade and creates a major upgrade advantage in the final fight Flanking with a minor army that targets fires the ravagers of Solar while micro his major army section close perfect
The guy is a freaking morphling... it is insane how he can continuously adapt so well to sudden situations even under severe pressure. Ok I am fan boy x)

If we're talking about dominance then what Maru did in 2018 was almost completely unheard of in the history of Starcraft 2 (if we forget about Mvp 2011-2012 for a second). problem is that Maru lost every other tournament in the meanwhile :/ but yes 3 code S in a row is crazy and what he did to the korean scene was incredible. And he did that while Terran was weak, even more impressive. But he stole the last map to TY Terran wasn't weak early 2018 tbh. Late 2018 on the other hand... Really looking forward to Serral vs Gumi & Inno, we'll know a lot more about his ZvT chances. I think tvz s pretty figured out like tvp but its because of the current maps not by the match up itself Terran players are giving zerg too much freedoom and zerg needs to be contained most important thing about TvZ vs serral is that you've to be good at dealing with ling counters (and react quickly when he'll engage your main army) bad thing is that both Inno and Maru are bad at it... Maru is out and Inno is out of his former shape. So it doesn't matter now, Serral should win against Inno, Gumi is Gumi, so that's hard to predict, whether he fails miserably or offers a good challenge(but he's not as good as TY)
In bo3 gumi should have a slight chance imo. chaos is probably the best way to beat Serral.

i want say it was 100 army supply vs 130 (solar) but impossible to know how much of that 30 differential was crossing the map. Either way solar seemed really happy to give serral a convex line after every volley of biles.

I mean, you have to be able to adapt to anything in Finland. Moose with knives coming out of nowhere, saunas roaming the land, Lordi drafting you to the band. Basically, you become the perfect killer if you survive the first few years

Pretty sure you are salty for no reason this time. Serral didn't have 20 lings, only the starting drones. And I officially sued Smix, who I found out is lurking under the alternate ID called "Rodya" here on TL.

have no doubt, people in these threads will never see any of this. they'll think it's a BO win and then open liquipedia and aligulac to namedrop some irrelevant stats

I dont think so, INno just doesnt look as good as expected.

Why don't we get to see this famous Serral moment?
