As far as I know, SCBOY is part of managing the event, you can contact them. But I am afraid that the whole events will be held on CN server. Well, at least worth a try, go Wardi!

I'm working to provide a solution to the English stream problem.
So did the English stream ever get settled on or not?
In fact, where's the stream at all?

Those Chinese streams don't work for me unfortunately, so I out.

Nice to see those NoRegreT tactics at work.
Cyan vs F91 right now, i think. 2-1. btw nice production.

are they playing? it's just been these two guys and a screen full of chinese language

You can disable the chat streaming on your screen by clicking the slider button in the bottom right corner.
And wow is this event living up to Chinese event standards. We've had messed up audio levels, have played one bo3 in an hour and a half, and we're getting to learn the sponsor's life story.

If someone could post the scores as we learn them, that'd be wonderful

We've still only seen one bo3 played, and are watching a BW game on The Hunters after seeing the very long sponsor's interview and a BW top plays cut three times.

TIME vs Scarlett happening right now
There are a lot of people
Is there a sc2 stream ? i just saw BW
On April 29 2018 17:51 Mun_Su wrote: Is there a sc2 stream ? i just saw BW
There's one stream that's 15% SCII, 15% BW, and 70% downtime.
Idk, no sc2 since the end of TIME vs Scarlett.
Maybe they broadcast a match of each tournament each time 2v2 bw-> 1v1 bw-> 1v1 sc2
actually is an offline carnival

The matches are played on the Chinese server and I couldn't find a backup stream/feed for English casters to piggyback on.

I don't think anyone would be willing to cover this in another language anyways when there's only a bo3 every two hours.

Well,this is indeed a STARCRAFT carnival,not SC2 carnival.
Is this the sc2 herO in the 2v2 tournament ?
On April 29 2018 18:44 DieuCure wrote: Is this the sc2 herO in the 2v2 tournament ?
It's hero, not herO or HerO.
Oh, ok thank you. But why did he capitalize the"O" then ?
Huh. Actually I might be wrong. It could be herO. He is playing Protoss rather than Zerg.
edit: It's just hero off-racing because of the map after all. No idea about the name.
FINALLY Starcraft 2, 3hours later
Sorry for no Eng stream, no way to get to the games because of CN server and the unreliability of my connection to Chinese streams~~
If there's any sort of replay pack I'll cast some of the highlights :D
Why is herO playing against INno ?
I think group stage was played off stream, since it's bo5 it's probably already semi-final
On April 29 2018 21:07 DieuCure wrote:Why is herO playing against INno ? quarterfinals?

AIUR HAS BEEN UNLEASHED so many zealots LOL

So according to the Chinese casters it's Neeb vs Koreans
Neeb vs Rogue Innovation vs herO

is there any results page for this event to update liquipedia?

The Chinese community seem if anything more aggrieved about this tournament than the English fans are.
Hey guys, when the fuck are you going to let me know the results of the group stage!!!
On April 30 2018 07:51 AlaStOrSC wrote: Hey guys, when the fuck are you going to let me know the results of the group stage!!!
I don't think anyone knows the specifics of the group stage except that INno, herO, Rogue and Neeb got out (and herO subsequently 3-0ed INno in the first semi).
Well thanks, i was betting a bit on the group stage, so i wanted to know the results
I supose since scarlet won TIME, and inno was 1st of his group, and need 2nd, then i supose thah neeb won scarlet, and both of them won to cloudy and time
And since inno faced herO being 1st of his group, i supose hero was 2nd of his group and because of that hero lost to rogue who was 1st of his group
I hope im right
Well basically it is, as it named, a Carnival, a big offline party, not a formal tournament, though the price pool is sth serious. The sponsor is a successful businessman starting bare-handed, and was a zealous Starcraft (not sc2) Fan at his youth time. This carnival is his memories show and had actually been held annually for sevral years, this is the first time they put in SC2 tournament and a live stream, and then we got what we've seen...... truely queit a mess. Chinese community also feel disappointed. Anyway, can't blame the man who 'throws' million dollars and wants nothing for return. He truely loves the game.
as much of the results i know for group stage:
innovation 2-1 neeb neeb 2-0 time neeb 2-0 cloudy innovation 2-1 time scarlett 2-0 time neeb 2-1 scarlett time 2-0 cloudy scarlett 2-0 cloudy innovation 2-1 scarlett
innovation 4-0 8-3 neeb 3-1 7-3 scarlett 2-2 6-4 time 1-3 3-6 cloudy 0-4 0-8
rogue 4-0 hero 3-1 cyan 2-2 jieshi 1-3 f91 0-4
Rogue vs Neeb just started. And according to the casters INno vs the loser of this should be in roughly 3~4 hours since there's BW in between.
A few very big mistakes from Neeb, but he still manages to win. Ultra with Viper support added later was an unpropitious composition from Rogue.
epic banes! with love from Rogue.
Cannon rush time!
edit: And botched. Pre-emptive karma for killing the automaton.
Is there any way to watch this in higher quality without registering?
I'm enjoying seeing Neeb bust out all these interesting builds at least though his execution hasn't been great.
edit: If you're dead set on breaking Protoss with ling/bane/hydra you probably shouldn't be on 90 workers. Though he does have a ton of bases--so maybe Sauron Zerg could work?

INno 0-3 herO? Damn :/ Mech too strong compared to bio
Inno wasn't even playing that as cost effective as he was capable. Ghost/raven would have slaughtered this high tech composition.

so good to use that cyclone to finish the hatch like a ninja

And then dies to muta harass
Still, nice to see Rogue able to take a game and not go down 0-3.

The best player of all time is so easy that he allows himself to play against 3 of the 4 best terrans in the world with a disadvantage.

The way half the players have nicknames throws me off--like INno seems to be called Lü Bu?! All the units also have nicknames--they're mostly literal translations, or fairly descriptive (Archons are 'White Balls', Vipers are 'Flying Snakes', etc), but some of them aren't that obvious (Spine Crawlers are 'Pipes').

And Neeb has to be insanely tilted if he wasn't already after blocking his natural with a pylon, and having to expo to the third...

That was a very nice hold. And the way Neeb placed his natural pylon one hex further away than usual from the nexus position was very funny.

GG Neeb. Not a flawless performance, but his calm reactions to everything herO threw at him, and the corrections he made following his mistakes were very impressive.
Bo5 finals feel so bad though.

Congrats to the winner!! I didn't know if the Protoss would win, but he won! It's impressive, since he got second in his group and had to face the winner of the other group.
