There are definitely some differences, my qualm with it was mostly that a lot of the differences are such that they won't really be relevant in 90% of the games. Much prefer Ascension to Aiur of your maps ^^

My favorite Sidian submission was definitely Battle on the Boardwalk. I only played one game on it where the rush feature didn't really come into play (I walled the backdoor early game and it never was used), but it was a fun one. To be honest I think with some changes that would have been a really good macro map entry.

Although maybe too close to Gettysburg...

I like Kere's Passage conceptually...

But I'd like some people who get motionsick easily to comment on the suitability of a map like that.

I don't get how Snute never runs out of money with this style of play. Protecting your economy is the biggest weakness of roach/ravager.

TBH Nerchio's games look the same. I think this style is criminally underrated.

Also tbf top Korean Terrans always made ravager styles look horrible. Although I guess those were the times when tanks could fly.
