Proxy Tempest Sunday Heroes Open
The Proxy Tempest Sunday Heroes Open is a twice-weekly tournament sponsored by OSC, Matcherino, that began in February 2017 and is open to everyone. Games are played on the EU server, administrated through Challonge, and casted from the Proxy Tempest Twitch. Although games are on the EU server, players from all regions are welcome to join.

Prize Pool
1st: $75USD + 120 OSC Points
2nd: $25USD + 60 OSC Points
3-4th: 30 OSC Points
5-8th: 10 OSC Points
9-16th: 5 OSC Points
Format and Rules
- Check in starts 30 minutes before the tournament. If you do not check in, you will be disqualified.
- Players will have 15 minutes to begin their match from the first time that both players are available. If a player does not respond within the allotted 15 minutes, their opponent will be awarded a walkover.
- This tournament is open to any player of any skill level.
- Players will need to check in 30 minutes prior to tournament start.
- Join the group "Proxy Tempest" in-game chat on the EU server to find your admins, casters, and opponents.
- The tournament is BO3 format until the finals, which are a BO5.
- The maps will be picked using the ABAB format used in WCS. The higher seed bans first (A). The second player bans (B). The bans continue until only three maps remain. The lower seeded player then picks the first map, and the higher seeded player picks the second map. (ABAB BAC)
- Laddering is not allowed while playing in the tournament. If you are caught laddering during the tournament and it causes a delay of a match, you will be disqualified.
