That's the real danger of reaper cheeses now. Reapers stay relevant for quite a long time with mines keeping them alive. | ||

WoL had a lot of potential and when i come back i see zergs not drone scouting, not placing overlords properly and not using the one unit that is good against the early terran harass. Let me explain it simply to you. Your spine should start as soon as your expo is down, no matter what. Then you make queens and a couple of roaches. You go to the terrans base and see w/e is there. Then you react. You guys are probably right tho, it's better to lose three times in a row to early pressure than to scout and blindly make a spine  | ||

Spines aren't very good vs reapers because of strong grenades and regenerating reapers. Roaches are the first step because of tankiness, but imo either a good ling surround or ravagers are needed to hold off reapers vs a terran with as fantastic reaper control as Uthermal. I agree that a drone scout wouldn't have been a bad idea if Elazer had watched Uthermal's series vs Snute, however, on a game by game basis, drone scouting is bad. It was more a mistake on Elazer's part to not be thinking of this as a series following a very similar patter to Snute vs Uthermal. | ||
