Not really: You need the libs to get off a warpprism that fucks up your army-positioning with adept drops.
Then you build a wall (go trump?) at the natural and let the protoss pay for it by giving them the taste of freedom dosed in zones.

He moved out because that was the idea of making marine/cyclone .. to punish what Hero was doing

I definitely agree with nerfing the shade cooldown, even heavily ; you're right, the problem with the shade is how forgiving it is currently. If you nerf the cooldown (even double it) you don't affect Protoss' ability to take good engages with shades but you nerf to the ground all those idiotic mass adepts strategies, which is good.

Then you send your liberators over and bring freedom to their baes. And a drop or 2.

And in normal games, you are always behind against protoss, you cant change it. You have seen that he can just take a Third while mass adepting. You cant fight a protoss third as terran on equal at the moment. Terrans have to live with the insane protoss economy.

We have seen in this game, that Zest took his natural far later then bomber, still he had more probes all the time.

I wouldn't say "behind" as it's standard that protoss has more bases same as zerg always has more bases than terran.

He moved out because that was the idea of making marine/cyclone .. to punish what Hero was doing

a general rule in tvp is that you shouldn't be aggressive in early game outside of some liberator/mine harassment.

Protoss now has a faster economy then Zerg. In HOTS both races payed that with less army and more eco and you could punish them. Now he can have equal army with adepts (who are stronger then non stim/cs marines on same supply) and still is ahead 20 worker and a base.

It is balanced out by Terran having a really strong timing army with 2-2 MMM + Liberators against Protoss who miss mostly either units or storm when it hits. But you fall economicaly behind terran has to fight that later when he gets his "core" army
