I'm just saying, he could have won against a hugely favored opponent right there by taking a risk as long as he stays somewhat on top of his defense. Instead, he remained very passive as to not lose right then and there. Which is fine, but he had to have been aware of the threat of a tie and a re-game because of the timer, which is effectively him throwing a game-winning position. Granted, the in-game tie function shouldn't be active in tournaments, but this time both players played with it in mind so this once we have to live with it.

He is capable of barely winning against a seemingly way worse opponent, yet winning the whole thing against players who 3-0ed their way to the finals. He is at his best when underestimated

So ye, this game exhibited everything there is about forced tie mechanics. Strange is strange indeed, but one can't deny that everything was going wrong for him in this game. :D Isn't it a 3 minute timer?

After 3 minutes of nothing happening, the 3 minute draw timer starts. So basically if burn damage counted Strange would have had another minute and 40 seconds.

Game one Cham broke the rock in the desert map again a early attack from bly (I don't remember the name) and then kill him with roach and queen again Bly who went muta from behind. Game two on Ulreana Bly also did an early attack that Cham defended and then he counter attack with like 13 Queen on 2 base with spine crawler to kill the natural (it was hilarious) Game three I don't saw the start but it seems like Cham just did an early pool and kill him.
