Very bad manner from Polt Awful He played for the draw and this is his job, why would he do that? Beside that, it's not bad mannered at all. I doubt Strange is more upset with Polt than with himself.

feel you man could tell you were not playing up to your usual standard. Better luck next time !

That's terrible that the tie rule doesn't count buildings that burn down. There is no way they don't change this for the next tournament now. Just that alone could have swayed the game by making Strange think he would get more time. classic untested feature. And not very clever programming. It's even on the Liquipedia page so I doubt this is unintentional tbh. Certainly not untested. But think about when you are killing a terran building. Even if you are constantly shooting it, the last tick could always end up being the burning instead of your attack. Therefore even killing something to the end doesn't guarantee resetting the tie timer against terran, which in my opinion is not how things should be.

Like drogo tweeted and the casters confirmed it.
The players CAN SEE the countdown timer.
So no, polt did not see it as a lost, he was trying to force a draw which was what happened.

Well if you know it you just have to check your unit damage and the building health in order to guarantee the last hit.

If you attack your own building does that reset the timer? Because if it does strange should have just done that (easier to say then to do with the nerve of course)

Agreed, but obviously Strange didn't know that detail, and I wonder if even Polt knew that burning detail. Should not be such a niche detail that even progamers don't know about it
