Dasan was pretty cool with contrasting expansion patterns from both players, and lots of interesting harassment centred around the gold.
I missed the game on Frozen Zone.
The game on Galactic Process was Stalker+Disruptor wars, but the map lent itself to very interesting positional play.
The game on New Gettysburg was basically a normal PvP except with players getting their air units caught on the air blockers.
edit: The game on Shiva, Harstem went for phoenixes, but got them sniped by puCK's blink stalkers. The ramps are buggy on that map.

On Frozen Zone it was Disruptor wars as well.

Dasan was fairly good in PvP, worked much better than in the last match. Didn't like Frozen Zone too much, map felt gigantic and the minimap was hard to read... Liked Galactic Process, an improved Cloud Kingdom imho. Missed Shiva, so no idea.

The fact that we're seeing so many blink stalker/disruptor is more reflective of the playstyle of the players than the maps though.
edit: The fact that the orange decals go over the unbuildable rocks somehow bothers me a lot.

The map layout on this one reminds me of that underwater map for some reason

it's like if you added 1 more base on each side edge and took out 1 on the top and bottom. I mean it's not super close but it made me think of Abyssal City

Oh. I somehow never realized it was supposed to be an underwater map. It does look kinda superficially similar, but I feel it plays very different. For example games on Abyssal City usually revolved around losing that bottom left/top right third, while the third and fourth bases on this map only have one entrance.

I guess, but for a map test tournament having such stylistic players can be seen as a disadvantage.

Aiur Plateau is really weird in an awesome way.

Yeah it's a beautiful map with so many quirky designs thrown together in a way that somehow fits. It's also the most confusing map since Raid Assault, and would probably be more vetoed than KCK if it ended up on ladder.

how long has this been going on?

This game is like a game of pong.

This is the most stressful stalemate situation I've seen...

The last map was amazing. I just wish I didn't have to watch disruptor wars for 7 games before that.

All foreigners prefer Stalker/Disruptor while all koreans prefer Zealot/Immortal/Archon.
