This will be a "King of the hill" format, where the winner from each match will advance on to fight the next player until an eventual "King" is crowned. This tournament will consist of 4x Bo5's and each round will be worth more in value.
R1: $100 - start at Tuesday, Apr 26 6:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00)
R2: $150 - start at approx.Tuesday, Apr 26 7:15pm GMT (GMT+00:00)
R3: $200 - start at approx.Tuesday, Apr 26 8:30pm GMT (GMT+00:00)
R4: $300 - start at approx.Tuesday, Apr 26 9:45pm GMT (GMT+00:00)

I love that we have Ting in sc2 now, the way the do things is great. They really get involved and Neeb seems like the perfect player to sponsor too.  . I would absolutely use their service if it was available in Germany.
Now this king of the hill seems like whoever wins the first series will win all the matches.

Neeb won a nice tournament yesterday including 4-0ing Hydra. Would be huge for Ting if he could do it back to back days. Already returning on their investment.

So, let me get this straight.
If neeb beats scarlett.
Then neeb beats huk.
Then drunkenboi beats neeb.
Then bails beats drunkenboi.
Then neeb would get 250, drunkenboi would get 200, and bails would get 300?
Seems like more of a gauntlet than a KOTH

I'm still very unsure what zerg is supposed to do once there are that many phoenix out. Once it gets to that point zerg seems pretty boned. The money fungal over 4 spores still only puts a small dent in their numbers.

Blind counter phoenix or all in before they get too many and hope they're not building pylons in the right place

Not really a blind counter when you know its coming because every Toss opens stargate.

That's exactly why it IS blind. You don't see it but you just counter it because you assume its there

So the most bails could win is 300 for winning his one match? am i missing something? o.O seems rather biased. I mean i guess it's focused on Neeb to begin with so whatevs. Just curious on how it was decided which players play which matches.

idk how they decided the others but they said originally Neeb was supposed to be the last player to be the "final boss" type thing but he asked if he could go first

Bails has the best spot in the tournament. He can win 1 bo5 and take home $300. The other matches weren't worth as much.

Yeah I haven't necessarily been watching pro sc2 for years (end of hots) but I haven't felt as much desire for someone to succeed as I do for Neeb. Hope he brings home some championships at some point in his career. Would be great for the foreign scene.

Okay so I was curious about the format and what was the best spot. If all 5 players was even here is what they'd expect to earn:
Neeb/Scarlett: $131.25
Huk: $162.5
Drunkenboi: $175
Bails: $150
So starting first was definitely the worst. Going 3rd best. Yet Neeb took all the money anyways.
