Scarlett has not dominate NA scene in a few year now, she lost to many NA player in 2014-2015, i still think she will qualify today.

IEM and DH havent seeded bracket in it feels like years?
IEM qualifiers have seeds.
BTW, does HTOMario have an american citizenship? Otherwise why is he allowed to play this qualifier while Masa was dqed?

I am follower of Scarlett fan club. She plays a lot she says. So with training like she is doing now I think she is going to stomp through that qualifier. She looked great in Nation Wars too.
I believe in Scarlett

Imo top2. But I believe State will take the spot either way. That is bad news for foreign P, because the game I just watched he played absolutely terrible and was outclassed by JonSnow Well foreign P's have been failling hard to foreign Z's. We are waiting for a patch :D Does this patch include any motivation for foreign protoss player to train harder and learn timings like koreans do? puCK did 3-1 Reality yesterday so he must be doing something right Adept? Also Reality will forever be the dumbass terran that doesn't wall off in tvz on a map with inbase nat while going cc first I will not be suprised if he got 4-0ed by johhnyrecco

I believe in Scarlett too but she's getting liberated pretty hard in this game 2 lol

Don't Korean P's also have a sub 50% winrate vs Zerg? not as bad as 42% iirc but still something not good lol Don't quite know. Too early to say, but the games I have seen so far in GSL etc. the protoss played good and won. So far no Zergs qualified only 2 protoss and 3 terrans if I remember correctly. I think if maps change soon then balance will be better. Korean protoss and terrans are currently showing the way with great dedication to the game and meticulous timings I want to say Ragnarok won but it was more innovation wanting to take a nap than anything else.

I don't think Scarlett can be considered favorite over State. Not even close. She was very good, but hardly plays according to her twitter. State plays 9 hours a day on Kr GM.

Lol I see that too. That is very strong. I don't like that. She is FORCED to go spire. I wish blizzard would allow more options to battle certain scenarios. That is bad design with that super strong liberator range

If I played 24 hours a day and Scarlett only 2 hours then Scarlett would probably still beat me
Scarlett has that magical control to be always ahead in everthing imho. I can't quite tell what but she definitely has better multitasking than other gamers I know (non koreans)

I'm not saying she's a scrub. I'm saying State is the best foreigner atm. Or very close to.

Exactly !
Wow scarlett 97 drones. She drones so hard while still maintaining perfect control. It is amazing to see. Really inspirational for me as a Zerg to see someone that good play like it is nothing.
I bet in real life it looks much harder with all that APM and control

Well there is 2 spot, it will depend of the level of her zvz in the loser braket, I think it will be State and Scarlett who qualify, but to be honest it would not be the first time State stumble in NA qualifier.

There's a loser's bracket? There wasn't in EU right?

How can he be the best foreigner? I am of very different opinion there. Maybe if we see results soon. I can't find any notable achievements from "State", but maybe he will be good in future?
Lets see and wait. For now I don't think State is Top5 foreigner.
Edit : WOW scarlett creep spread is monster

He sometimes shows up and beats everyone, then disappears again http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/IEM_Season_X_-_gamescom/American_Qualifier http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/The_Safety_Net
He's really good right now but nowhere near best foreigner
