Yo, you rock.
After I posted, and went to the autobahn list, but it was not really informative.
You're much more efficient

Congratulations.
Not to downplay marinelord but Koreans played somewhat sloppy especially Parting. He does not seem to be practicing at all.

Congrats to Marinelord though, he did what Taeja couldn't This line-up tho, they have better zergs and protoss but could not really send it, but yeah Well, Parting is definitely super good, Hydra is solid, and Innovation used to be the most dominant teamleague player in SC2. Maybe that title belongs to Marinelord now :p Parting's been missing in SC2 Korea for last several weeks. He can be super good, but right now he's not.

Either switch to AK without revive, or PL format (or whatever hybrid format you can come up with) -As stated by Elentos, Bo9 finals is epic and cool but double revive is kinda meh -I'm not really a fan of choosing the teams by popularity, although I understand that it's meant to draw viewers by having popular players playing. Maybe only elect one player by country (this country's "captain") and then he choses his 3 teammates himself?

If it turns out it's not feasible because of the cost that's sad but understandable.

So, time for some feedback :
- There was roughly a 15 second segment where I thought "damn, perhaps I should do something with my life" - But then, I kept watching and it was awesome, and now, I have effectively done nothing with my life

I do think that the time schedule and all was sub-optimal for the Koreans. Obviously, that's maybe something they need to shift their sleep schedule for and whatnot, but it's not great. Also cross-server is always bad. Offline finals would solve these problems. This is maybe hard, but perhaps it would be conceivable to do what Esport-SM did with Dreamhack and partner with a tournament and play the nation finals there to off-set plane ticket and (some) venue costs?
I don't like the revive system and the AK-format. Elentos (I think?) argued well for there to be a PL format instead.
I also heard that O'gaming was involved in the creating of the Vichy state, is that true? If so, I am not going to watch any more.
The election system to national teams is less than stellar since it makes people like Stephano get in. On the other hand perhaps that secures more viewers and thus more revenue, but it makes for less than optimal games. Perhaps just base it off of WCS points instead or something?
4-player teams would be nicer as well but it might be tough to do for many countries. On the other hand perhaps only the teams that can field a decent 4-player team deserve to actually be in a true nation wars? After all, it's about depth here. And the underdog story of some team making it through qualifiers with some relatively unknown GM/Masters player that can make a claim to fame would be really sweet.
The downtime was frustrating. Not sure what the issue was and if that can be rectified or not but it always sucks.
Overall a great job, thanks for the hard work and dedication : )

the thing i was the most disappointed with was the voting system, because of that ptitdrogo lost his place over stephano and i was mad about it

RO4 and final was supposed to be played offline but O'Gaming had to cancel the offline part of the tournament. You can read more here : http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/starcraft-2/500698-nation-wars-iii-finals-will-take-place-online We cancel the offline part of the event less than a month before the offline part that's why we could not find a partner with a tournament. We tried and thought about every situation but at the end we decided to play the tournament in full online.
I don't like the revive system and the AK-format. Elentos (I think?) argued well for there to be a PL format instead.
I understand that you like ProLeague format more but the allkill format is way easier to use as a tournament organizer, for players since when they play teamleague they almost only do allkill format and for viewers it's also easier.
The election system to national teams is less than stellar since it makes people like Stephano get in. On the other hand perhaps that secures more viewers and thus more revenue, but it makes for less than optimal games. Perhaps just base it off of WCS points instead or something?
Countries were invited based on WCS points. The voting system has its pros/cons but at the end it allows every player to try to be selected from their countries.

Honestly doing 4 player teams kinda kills the spirit of the tournament, the goal of the tournament is to gather all countries and most of them do not have 4 players that can/willing to play in the tournament. There are a lot of countries with only players and they deserve to be playing this tournament even if they are only playing qualifiers. Look at Japan for example, they did not qualify but we had the opportunity to see one of the most hidden scene in the world.
The downtime was frustrating. Not sure what the issue was and if that can be rectified or not but it always sucks.
The downtime was the biggest default of the tournament but it was moslty because we had issues with players joining game, they have to relog, we try to invite them, it does not work, they sometimes has to reboot computers. Also, the format makes the downtime important because teams playing are talking about who's player is going to play the next match and they sometimes took more than 3 minuts.
Thanks everyone for feedbacks, we'll read all of them and do better next time we do a tournament.
