That's really really embarrassing for Korea. Not only do you not win, but you get all killed 0-5?

Congrats to Marinelord though, he did what Taeja couldn't

This line-up tho, they have better zergs and protoss but could not really send it, but yeah

Well, Parting is definitely super good, Hydra is solid, and Innovation used to be the most dominant teamleague player in SC2. Maybe that title belongs to Marinelord now :p

Hydra is better than Parting at this point of their careers.

That is hilarious that the koreans congratulate Marinelord for his performance, while a significant percentage of foreigners are making the most hilarious excuses and did cry all night long as they realise their sweet pop-idols are not invincible.

What are they supposed to say? Anything else would be viewed badly as the recent case Lilbow vs. Everyone showed us
I imagine France should be able to take this unless Lilbow is busy practicing for Starcraft III. | KadaverBB is my fairy ban mother.

The caster bias was way too unprofessional imo. I can accept it in HSC because it's a half joke tourney (which I love) but this was supposed to be a serious one, wasn't it?

Why can't you do both? Marinelord deserves to be congratulated but there are also circumstances that makes his victory less meaningful (even just being online).

Excuses are always going to be made when the better players lose, if you want the excuses to be gone then we have to see them perform well continually or perform well on LAN.

If we want excuses to be gone we have to see him compete in Korea.
The korean bias is too strong and totally disgusting in this community. I always feel like talking to kids that no nothing except that "koreans" are the best, or to people of my age that grew with Boxers that just barely follow the foreign scene at all but still talk out loud. I don't know what kind of bias it is. I don't want to believe too that a lot of the "geek" community is fucking biased toward Asia in general. Best food best girls best mentality best music whatever, it is hilarious.

Btw who the fuck downsize the performance of Luminosity when they beat Nip, Envy and TSM?
EU is the korea of cs, there are a lot of banter between EU and NA, it is clearly a fact that NA teams don't perform as good as EU teams and that they lack something in the mindset.
But everyone want them to catch up and is happy when they have a good run.

Wtf is wrong in starcraft ? Korean bias just too strong and annoying.

I've been a lurker for years and years as my english wasn't good enough before I had to travel a lot with my job, and I seem to only post to defend foreigners.
Why? Because oh my god this community is SO biased and TL and reddit are a whine fest. No funny posts, few positive attitude posts.

Just having the chance to live such an incredible storyline should rejoycs everyone. Even the koreans I read from are simply happy to see something different happen.

We all know Innovation is the better player, he has nothing to prove, and Marinelord said it was probably the only time in his career that would achieve that.

Anyway.
I am so happy to have lived that

And my favorite players have always been MMA, Nestea, Stephano, Marineking and Innovation. Please add Marinelord to the list !

a good way to help your conscious rest with some of the silly posts you see on TL is to check the poster's join date. if it after 2011-2012 they're probably new to sc altogether and have no clue what they're talking/you are safe to assume the quality of the post is lower(sadly) if it's before that they're probably just trolling

I am still waiting to see the VoDs they sound pretty awesome. I heard the first set via audio but didn't get to see any of the games. Are any of them up anywhere yet other than the twitch? I imagine they'll be coming soon to the YT channel...?

That's what I used to do.

But in the end there's just as many of us "pre 2010"ers that talk all high and mighty, but really haven't got a clue.
TBH now I am on of the people who have no clue, cause I just lost interest in starcraft in the last year or so. Only thing I've watched was Proleague, so you could say I'm Korea-biased too.
not even LotV could rekindle my interest.

Better: MLord ascended and became a God himself.

But more seriously: very (very !) solid play by MLord who definitely earned his wins. It seemed like the koreans weren't at 100% tho (some weird "mistakes" from Parting and INno) which could be explained by the time at which the games were played (they were probably tired). But that doesn't change the fact that the level of play showed by MLord was very impressive. In all matchups. He dmoniated them both, and that's saying something. Really fucking solid play, I can't wait to see him completely tear through WCS !

Be slow with that hype train so it won't derail. It is so long we have seen foreigner hope being a Terran player we have to be careful with him so we won't break him!

Well apparently we already broke him since he wants to retire in September.

He had a lot of momentum, his TvZ is good so his first win which happened to be against Hydra was expected, he was kinda lucky against INno the first time (the odds were with us), he played well the low econ 1base vs 1base against PartinG (probably thanks to the high number of protoss on the top GM EU ladder that do a lot of agressive builds) then had a good build on Ulrena against PartinG yet again.
The last game against INno he had enough momentum to maybe even win in a real macro game but INno attempted many things with 2bases and could not break MLorD.

Korea bias??? wtf? koreans are the best that's a fact. they are so good they got banned from international tournaments so that others have a chance to win.
