They wanted to guarantee another race in the ro16.

Could still end up with no Terran though.

Interesting That does make sense since there isn't really much point of using the results from the previous season to seed players.
This is different from 2015 starleague season 1 qualifier where there were 16 groups with two advancing each into challenger.

wtf Trap. Letting those lings in game 1 was bad enough, but I put that down as being due to timings being different in LotV. Losing a probe to a drone though.

Most of the time that should be a loss on these maps.
I guess the afternoon session is gonna have to make up for it.

Choya just said There will be 60 players advancing through GSL qualifiers. So probably 60/2 + 2 =32

Back to the good old days of Maru being the only Terran hope.

Personally I'm expecting something along the lines of 8Z 6P 2T or 9Z 5P 2T.

It's gonna depend on the groups I guess. Somewhere between 1 and 3 Terrans makes sense with how this is going. Map pool doesn't help.

Yeah. We could end up with a terran equivalent of Group D for example.

So are herO and Stats playing or have they been waiting for the broadcast?

Wow. Not a lot of top-tier protoss players but still pretty impressive.
