In my life if I encounter obstacles I work hard and try to overcome them rather than give up. I guess that means when I see a player lose in a bo3 I don't immediately wish they give up the game but hope they continue to play and get better. It seems we just have a different outlook on life overall.

Jesus. I always knew that ByuN was a macro God that just made bad decisions that would cost him games, and he does play kind of weird. But this is the best that I have ever seen him playing since his second deep GSL run (the one that he should have won if he didn't choke against Seed).

I don't see why you think Snipe is OP right now. It has 1 relevant target against Protoss and 0 against other Terrans. Against Zerg it's the strongest answer to lategame because of vipers, but it can be countered.

This is stronger than irradiate. Irradiate had to be researched and doesn't stack. SVs are also more expensive than vipers and can't consume to rapidly gain energy. It has smart casting. Its also easier to tell which unit was irradiated in brood war.

On the topic of fungal growth I think I've noticed a trend. Blizzard gives zerg broken versions of brood war spells. Maelstrom and Irradiate. Maelstrom was nerfed. Here hoping that happens to irradiate sooner rather than later.

DS is not meant for sc2. We had a severely nerfed version of dark swarm in PDD. It was still too strong. I'd agree that FG is much better with the projectile. FG in WOL was maelstorm + dps + no mechanical immunity + smart casting...

My biggest worry is that Blizzard will look at statistical markers to determine that ZvT is balanced. The reality of the situation is that an early roach-ravager push is dangerous and can win games however if you don't win with that or try to play a macro game as zerg.
Then Terran has a huge window to kill you where it is very hard to defend, the period where it used to be a muta,ling,bane.
Yes Ultralisks with max upgrades are good, but they are an extreme late game unit and should require more than T1 to defeat.
If they use a win % metric then they can say that the matchup is "balanced" but in reality it is a poor state if zerg has to roach ravager timing or die trying

Yeah I tried ling/bling/hydra too in the past and once again with LotV. But the pre hive timing is just too strong against it and you hardy ever survive a big bio push. It can snowball in your favour if you can snipe medivacs early on I guess, but it rarely happens.

I dislike the T1 should not be able to fight T3 argument. Lots of Protoss players brought this up in the past complaining how Bio armies wreck their lategame compositions. True, but there should be some strategical adaption. If you play like 4M and against MLB then there should be options for both sides to eventually transition and get advantages. A Zerg with ultras or BLs should get an advantage if the Terran doesn't adapt, same as a Terran with liberator or tanks or something should get an advantage if the zerg doesn't adapt. Otherwise the game gets stuck very easily in a state where everyone is playing one composition blindly and forever.

Yeah but the final part is offline in the studio. And depending on how GSL seeding is done (or if it's done rather, I think we talked about this before right?) the online part is gonna be missing a lot of potential heavy hitters. So if ByuN participated the odds of him getting to the offline part would be pretty good.
