Good RTS design is not something set in stone.

This is the most LR posting I've ever done on mobile and now I figured out how to post without tabbing out of stream, truly I'm a genius

LR threads will mostly be about the games.
Anyone think FireCake stands a chance? You're not allowed to talk about the game in here

He is saying that something can be fun to watch, but that doesn't make it a good part of a strategy game.
If it's too volatile and based on a lot of luck.
PvP definatly seems like a MU where far greater comebacks can be seen now. Than ever before.
(I'm not saying that I agree with his statement. Just explaining.

Colossi wars were everything about positioning. Then I am perfectly sure that in most of the pro PvPs I've seen progamers didn't get that, as their positioning was horrendous.

Colossi wars were everything about positioning. Colossus is a very snowbally unit. You have a few more than your opponent and you gain huge advantage. You can even push those advantage further because colossi have no cooldown. Disruptors can always stage a comeback with a right shot. sOs beat PartinG when he was down like 4 colossi because of a superior fight tho, I don't think the advantage is as clear as you make it.

Quick solution to PvP: 1. remove +shield damage from disruptor
2. add -shield damage to tempests.
No effect on other matchups. Disruptor, tempests, and collosus were the three reasons for PvP being so horrible. There was time in HOTS when zealots+archons+immortals were used and they were great to watch like BW PvP.

Why is the autocast turned on? oO Carriers don't build interceptors on auto, but immortals have barrier on auto? Where's consistency? I get why medevacs have heal on auto, but that should be an exception IMO. Nevermind, PARTING! Now he can lose to some Zerg I like it being auto casted, you can bait the ability to go off Well yeah, but why there's no consistency in Protoss units. Lesser players can always turn it on... I would like to know why
Blizzard decides on this. Just like Charge, if it wouldn't be autocast stronger players would have an inherit advantage. With it being autocast, you can still gain an advantage by turning it off, but it won't be that insane.

This is nothing like Dragoon/Reaver, which required actual finesse to win. Right now Stalker/Disruptor is ridiculous in terms of how forgiving it is (how many times did we see 15-25 supply evaporate and it had no effect because the numerically superior army could not capitalize?) and how little commitment Disruptors require to pay off. Constant sharking in itself is not interesting to me personally.

I think PvP would evolve into some chargelots flanking to target the disruptors and ending the mass disruptors standoff

I don't even know why this exists in the first place. A gateway based PvP would probably be extremely exciting, why did they need to promote disruptor play that much ?

That was different because Reavers were much better than Disruptors for one reason
THE SCARAB ITSELF DID NOT GO THROUGH UNITS!
That is what made the Reaver much better unit, you can actually micro the targeted unit away, not keep blinking to survive because splitting is pointless.
