Today, we will be running our inaugural mYinsanity Chocolate Cup! The idea behind this tournament is to be a fun in-house tournament between the players currently residing in the mYinsanity house and hopefully to see some entertaining games! The tournament will be played on Legacy of the Void Beta.
When and Where: The tournament will begin at 19:00 CEST and will be streamed live at www.twitch.tv/myinsanitytv
Format: It will be a single elimination tournament with best of 1 matches in the Quarterfinals, and then best of 3 in the semifinals and finals. We will hold an on stream rock-paper-scissors tournament to determine seeding.
The Prize: The winner of this tournament will be awarded a gigantic Toblerone bar. Seriously, this thing is massive.
The Storylines: Ryung comes into this tournament as the clear favorite, both as a strong Terran player and also the player with by far the most LotV experience.
Sacsri, Reynor and PtitDrogo have minimal LotV experience, and will be relying on surprise. "If I have no idea what I'm doing my opponent can't possibly read into it either."
Smile, Primelot and PengWin have spent the past 24 hours grinding out games in the hopes of causing an upset, and both have solid ladder statistics on the new LotV ladder, stomping a large number of gold league players in preparation.
Kaldi is a professional passionstone player for Fnatic, but before going pro in the cardstone scene, he was a top 100 EU grandmaster Zerg player.
We're hoping for a really fun evening, so make sure not to miss it!
